We live in the west Independent living apartment building. The staff and residents are friendly and helpful. We’re very happy with our choice of independent living facilities. You can’t beat the beautiful grounds and walking paths around our lake. We love how the grounds have been decorated for Christmas. We’re happy to answer any questions .

I am a hospice RN and this was my first time going into this facility. The staff were amazing! I was greeted with a smile from the receptionist and the nursing staff answered all of my questions without hesitation. Shout out to Lisa Geeze LPN and Hannah LPN! Both nurses are very respectful, compassionate and work hard! I’m so impressed with this facility overall!

My mother and stepfather moved into Lake Port Square just over a year ago after battling health issues and problems maintaining their home (particularly during hurricane season). Right away, I went from nonstop worry to restful nights as I learned more about the staff and facilities at Lake Port Square (as well as their proximity to hospitals and other available healthcare). The entire Lake Port Square campus is designed with safety, community, comfort and curiosity in mind. My husband and I just visited last week and are more impressed than ever! The staff are wonderful - knowledgeable, kind, and very patient. The community is full of interesting people who welcome newcomers and support each other. The food was terrific and there were always plenty of tasty options. We also enjoyed snacking on fresh popcorn, cookies, and other treats in the lobby. During our short stay I attended movie night and Lifelong Learning classes, worked on a puzzle in the library, enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi, walked through a beautiful garden grown by the residents, and sat on the dock of the nearby lake. Maybe next time, I'll try out the woodworking shop and ride on their boat. Not only am I grateful that my mother and stepfather have found such a wonderful place to live, my husband and I are now discussing how we want to spend our golden years with Lake Port Square in mind.

The facility is beautiful and the staff treats all residents like family! Also extremely clean
