Hope Center Memory Care Reviews

My mother-in-law lived at the Hope Center for just over 3 years before she passed away. We were a little apprehensive at first, but over time we realized she was in the right place. She received wonderful care, and the staff treated her like family. We are so fortunate to have found Hope.

This review Is not really for the facility but rather for one of their phenomenal employees. Peyton, the lady who helped me get my mother admitted on a short notice is absolutely the best! She went far above and beyond the call of duty. Due to an absolute nightmare experience at Christian City, I had to pull my mother out of Christian City seniors rehab and nursing facility in Union City Georgia against medical advice and take her to the hospital due to the blatant neglect provided to her at Christian City. My mother arrived at Fayette Piedmont hospital at 8 o’clock at night with no where to be discharged to and the hospital staff wanted to discharge her asap! Peyton was on the phone with me, my mothers doctors, nurses and social workers until well after midnight that night securing my mothers admittance into the hope center. Peyton also was emailing, faxing and doing whatever she had to with my mothers care team to secure an emergency admittance for My mother in the Hope Center facility the next morning, on a Friday. Without Peyton spending her personal time off until late in the night, my mother would have been discharged into my care that night. I’m a quadriplegic and there is no way I could have cared for my mother until I got her into another facility. If you are looking for a place to place your loved ones I urge you to contact Peyton at the Hope Center and give them a chance. They’re the best option I could find for my mother and there are some great staff members there but, in my opinion Peyton is one of their brightest, shining stars!!!

One star was given because I had to give a star in order to write the review. If your love one is on Hospice or in need of daily assistance, the Hope Center is not the place to trust with your love one. The Hope Center Staff does not work collaboratively with the Hospice staff to ensure your family members are cared for. I trusted the Hope Center with my mom's care and they totally failed our family. My mother entered their facility December 2021 and left August 31st with a stage 4 bedsore. Hope Center's Staff does not effectively communicate with families about their love ones and they are grossly understaffed. Hope's staff members are uneducated and unprofessional. No one on their staff acknowledged my mom's bedsore nor was an apology offered. The Hope Center does not deserve to be in business.

We are a family twice touched by dementia. We've had experience with three other facilities over the course of the past 12 year. While each did a good job taking care of our loved one, the care my mom receives from Hope Center Memory Care is absolutely the best we have seen. Kathy and her team not only do a great job of taking care of mom during this pandemic but they also show genuine care for how my dad is handling the journey as well. Thank you Hope Center - we can't tell you how much we appreciate being part of the Hope a family!
