Honest, but sad. My father has been a resident of Heartis for many years. We have watched several ED's, and RCDs come through the building, as well as Care Staff. The current Administrator Trunetta Resse has been the worst to come through Heartis of Fayetteville. We all have watched as the black cloud has come over Heartis. Staff are depressed, and anxious. As well as the residents who reside there. I remember seeing staff come in smiling, happy, and enjoying caring for those who are here. The current nurse was excellent in Memory Care. Now that she is more involved with Trunetta she seems just like the rest of the staff; depressed, anxious. Corporate's information needs to be given in the response to this review (if there is one). We want the Heartis we pay for, and remember. Not this joke of a director. The only reason this is anonymous is out of fear of retaliation to staff, or my own father. I can point out some good things about Heartis. Some of the staff members are excellent. Paula Chambers is an amazing caregiver, who is honest to all. Lucinda Miller-Lee, and Tanya Baxter are both fantastic med techs. Morgan Tyndall is an excellent care giver, who is thorough, loving, etc. Latoya Jordan-Bell is extremely kind, uplifting, and much more. I could go on and on about the care staff in this building, but these are a few. Please fix these issues, and make sure they are actually fixed. Our previous ED was better than this, and she was a complete joke!

Heartis is a wonderful place to consider if you are looking for a friendly, clean, professional place for your senior. My Dad has been here for almost two years and it has been a good fit for him. He enjoys the staff and has no complaints. There are certainly challenges, as with any senior living facility, but they address the issues quickly and make sure that it is a safe and comfortable place for their residents.

I could write a book about the excellent care and sincere nurturing that my mother received the 7 years that she lived at Heartis! She was the first woman to move in and the first minority! Names oh my, Carlese, Cathy,Stacie, Annie,Kayla, Audrey,Marc, Susan just to name a few have been extensions of my family… they have loved on my mother like she was a family member! No place is perfect but for the last 7 years Heartis has come pretty close!

My dad has been at Heartis for quite some time and had positive words up to the past 5 months. Sure, no community is perfect, but plainly said bad management. Constantly broken elevator, overflowing dumpster that stinks, and overflowing grease pit that stinks too are his biggest complaints. My dad is in his right state of mind and is independently living and complains that it’s turned into a bonafide nursing home. To top it off they are on their third community director in recent years and things are just out of hand with this one. Update: To be clear your records may not show my name. No sign in at front desk and not on the emergency contact list, but rest assured my funds pay for him to live there and don’t appreciate you making it sound as these are false claims certainly knowing things aren’t up to par. Granted I haven’t been there in a little over a month but sure hope you have these fixed by my next visit.
