Bald security guard is VERY rude for no reason. I work for hospice and came by to see a patient at this complex for the first time. When asking for directions he was very blunt and said “I don’t know which building so I can’t help you.” He also kept cutting me off when I tried to speak. Another gentleman believed to be security was able to help me. The bald one is not a good representation of this establishment and I didn’t feel welcomed here at all.

We have lived at Highland Springs for almost four years and highly recommend it. Our apartment is a comfortable size with nice appointments, and yet friends and multiple activities are just steps away (without getting out in the cold, rain, or Texas heat). The larger the facility, the more options one has for interaction with others, and Highland Springs is probably the largest independent living complex in Dallas, with facilities for a medical center, assisted living, rehab, and memory care as well. Interaction with others is of major importance in the well-being of people as they age. The HS staff is caring and the residents the friendliest folks in Dallas. Come see all we have to offer.

Some of the lesser publicized pleasures of living at Highland Springs include the lovely, spacious grounds which feature a lake, a pond, and a variety of water fowl and birds. It's a great place to enjoy nature. No one would guess we are mere minutes from shopping, expressways, etc.

I moved to Highland Springs 9 years ago shortly after my wife passed away. I have found that Highland Springs offers a plethora of physical and mental activities to keep us all happy and involved. I was even fortunate enough to find a wonderful resident widow lady who agreed to marry me 5 years ago. LIFE IS GOOD!
