Heron Point Independent Living of Vero Beach

I visited Heron Point with my mother in-law who is very interested in being a resident. Evette, a marvelous host, showed us potential apartments, explained everything available to residents, and introduced us to staff and residents alike . Evette did a great job explaining every detail of living at Heron Point, so true that it was easy to explain the agreement to my mother in-law. We were lucky to be treated to an elegant meal by Chef Derrick. We are confident she will be eating well at her new home. The atmosphere at Heron Point is very welcoming. A great feeling to have as your loved one makes important changes in their life.

Carrie and Jackie do a fantastic job. The event decorations are fantastic and the event goes perfectly. Everyone has fun and gets plenty to eat and drink. Couldn't be better.

After touring many communities, I chose Heron Point and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The food is outstanding, and the variety on the menu is impressive. My lobster tail meal was absolutely delicious (see photo!), and Chef Derrick and his culinary team are incredibly attentive and truly care about quality. Yvette, the Sales Director, took the time to really listen to my needs and wants, and she found the perfect apartment for me. The community offers so much to enjoy: daily activities, exercise programs, live music, and special events every week. The location is ideal—just 5 minutes from the hospital and medical services, which gives me great peace of mind. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to make Heron Point my home.

My mom moved into Heron Point last October. She has acclimated so well and a lot of it is due to the wonderful Activity Department! Carrie and her team (including Jackie) plan so many wonderful activities for the residents! Any day you can find some type of game to play. The music hours are wonderful for the residents! One of the activities my mom loves best is the “drum circle” where she gets to play the drums to go along with the music! Carrie and Jackie plan very special events with beautiful decorations such as the NY’s eve party, Mother’s Day tea, the July 4th party, and the recent Australian Safari to name a few! Kudos to these fine ladies!!
