We had a horrible experience at this place. My parent was there for a year in assisted living. He went weeks without his room cleaned many times, once for 6 weeks. Huge staff turnover. They use a lot of agency help and do not give them any background on the residents. Many times the staff did not have phones, so when the residents pushed their buttons nobody responded. Many times there are long waits after the resident pushes the button for staff to respond. We would meet with the head nurse, admin and others to set up a plan. This was a signed agreement and not all of the plan was implemented. When we asked staff why they were not doing all of the items listed on the agreement, we were told the staff is not aware of the plan that was agreed upon. We were told this by at least 5 staff members who cared for our parent. We had to put my parent on hospice so he would get more care. We finally had enough when they decided to raise his rent $1000 a month for the exact same care he was getting the entire year ($200 yearly increase and $800 level up). We were constantly discussing the issues with the admin, who then acts like she will do something about it. He is now in a place where there is very little turnover and the residents get the care they need.

The staff is amazing at Heritage Muskego! John was so helpful in getting our dad all settled in and very informative to my sister and I. He answered all our questions and was just so personable! Carolyn, the Activity Director, went out of her way to make sure dad was included in his favorite things. Cory, on the memory floor, took dad under her wing as well! Both these gals really made dad feel at home! Adriana, in memory care, was absolutely our savior! Not only did she give dad that extra loving care - we also witnessed it with other residents! She takes her job to heart and you can see it in everything she does! Even though dad is gone now, I will still pop in to visit the staff at Heritage Muskego! They truly are a family there. Thanks to all of you for not only giving the TLC that dad needed, but also the support the family needed. I would highly recommend this facility! Lynn Henneberry

My mother-in-law went to the family cottage and needed more meds. I walked in on a Saturday about 8AM and Emily helped me locate the nurse and achieve what I needed. I didn't catch her name that day but ran into her at the recent "Hoe Down" and thanked her again. The live entertainment they bring in is great too. MIL is very happy at Heritage and the care and staff are super.

So this is how you treat Agency? Agency that is paid to come help your facility out because you don’t have any? If it was not for Agency you would not have the staff you need to run your facility. But this is what you think of them? This is digusting. And Shameful everyone deserves a right to eat! You should be reported!!
