I highly recommend Sunrise. We moved our dad here after a very unplesant experience at another facility in town. Making the decision to move was hard but everyone made it a plesant experience. When we arrived at Sunrise, we were overwhelmed with how friendly and kind the entire staff was. Everyone took time to get to know our Dad and we truly felt like they cared about his wellbeing and care. The facility is warm and feels like home. My dad passed in January 2025 but we were so blessed to have him live here for the time he did. We felt so supported as a family. The nursing staff was excellent. We never felt like Dad was a burden or too much for them to care for him. I also want to note that many friends and family visited our dad during his time at Sunrise and everyone complimented both the facility and the staff! This place was a blessing to our father and our family. Thank you for the important work you do.

I would only recommend this facility if your loved one has no care needs and just requires a home with food and activities provided. My mom enjoyed living here until her care increased and there is a HUGE lack of staffing (though I was assured they could accommodate her needs). She often would not receive a response to her call button for 30-60 minutes (often never!), staff was frustrated and rude when called upon, medications were administered incorrectly, she was not changed or taken to the bathroom in a timely manner, the head nurse, Tanya, was rude and condescending, and even staff complained often that there were not enough staff to meet the needs of residents. If I had not been present, my mom may never have received meals on some days to her room. I had to be present 24 hours a day to oversee her care in her final weeks. There was a failure to provide basic attention, compassion, and professionalism.

I wanted to take a moment to highlight the exceptional care provided by Michael Jamaal, one of your CNAs. Michael has consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism and compassion in his role. His attentive nature and willingness to go the extra mile made a significant difference during my recent visits with my parents. He not only ensured that all there needs were met but also took the time to engage in meaningful conversations, making the experience much more comfortable and positive. I believe that Michael's dedication and kindness are truly commendable, and he is a valuable asset to your team. Thank you for having such a wonderful caregiver on staff!

I would highly recommend Sunrise to any family who is looking for great care for their loved one. Sunrise is a small environment with a big loving heart for caring for your loved one. We chose Sunrise for my 91 year old father. He was in a hospice situation; the care takers there cared for him in a very loving gentle way. We left there every night knowing he was in good hands and checked on frequently. They treated him as one of their own loved ones. The administration team is also very kind and loving. They put together all their resources to get my father in there as quickly as they could to give him a comfortable loving place for the last days of his life. We were so please with Sunrise - it was always clean, all the staff was gentle and caring. We watched other people who were in the home and they too were cared for in a very professional, loving way. I will definitely go back to them if the need is there in our family again. If you are in this situation of finding a good place for your loved one please visit Sunrise.
