Solista Colorado Springs

I have lived at Solista for over four years. I am very involved in the community. I am a Resident Ambassador and run a movie club. I’m also part of the Drama Club and Kindness and Compassion Club. I enjoy most of our activities, in the building and out. We go to movies, a lunch once a month, plays, conventions, and shopping. I enjoy that I am empowered on the independent living front. I am happy to call this place home.

The welcoming environment, the helpful staff, and the clincher,happy residents ! I took the time to come in after setting an appointment to tour the Solista Community. The atmosphere, the cleanliness and the attention I witnessed to the residents by John Ingersoll , the Community Relations Director is one that showed me this community cares for its residents! My name is Morris Medina, As A Senior Transition Specialist , I need to know that where I recommend my potential clients to move to is a place of comfort, safety and amenities that allow them to thrive and not just survive. In today’s world being genuinely interested in your community matters! If you would like an advocate to help explain what resources are available to you and how you can become a resident , I can be that person to help you see and experience and thrive in this environment. I waited quite a while before I posted anything just to make sure nothing changed. My original contact was with salesman John. He was very kind over the phone, and when he figured out I made a mistake in making the visit appointment called me back instead of waiting for me to call back as planned. He sat with us through lunch, laughed with us, showed us around and showed genuine concern for both my parents as the got worn out. He reached out after the appointment to check in and see if anyone had questions, but was not pushy. When we wanted to look at other rooms, he got us in right away and always walked with one of my parents to talk and get to know them better. He got back to me right away with answers to my questions, and never pushed me off. Once my parents chose to move in...a large part due to John, Brian the maintenance man and Carrie the housekeeping extraordinaire jumped into action and got everything ready. There was a small hiccup but Corey, John and all the rest jumped in and fixed it all quickly. Once my parents moved in the love did not stop. They all say hi to all of us, and they stop us quite often to chat and see how we are doing. The "salesman " also did not stop. We had all thought that the attention from him as well as "upper management" would dwindle away with time, but we could not have been more wrong. They have been generous and kind with time and attention. This is indeed a new home!!!

Solista is a great senior living community! The staff are amazing! They get to know the residents well, and are very attentive to their needs! The property is comfortable and feels like home, so it made the transition easier for our parents. We really appreciate that they have the option of extra care to assist with dispensing medication and other daily needs that arise! The staff is very friendly when we come to visit, they spend time to get to know us! We communicate well with them and they make us feel comfortable enough to express our requests on our parents behalf. They address concerns promptly and keep us informed! We highly recommend Solista for senior living community!
