My sister relocated here from a small town in the Midwest, where she had spent her entire life. The last ten years she had lived alone. This move was a life changing experience for her. In the 18 months she has been at Hawthorne Court, she has made dramatic progress in her ability to communicate, socialize and improve her life skills. Her self confidence has improved significantly and she continues expanding her interests and participation in the many planned activities provided. These improvements are all a result of the efforts of the staff at Hawthorne Court! My gratitude extends to all the employees and other residents who go out of their way every day to make her life more meaningful. She now feels at home here and thinks of the staff and other residents as her new “family “.

My dad stayed at Hawthorne Court for 20 months until his death. The people there became his surrogate family. They were his friends, they brought him his favorite meals, they kidded with him and made him feel safe and comfortable. They were there to help us as we tried to be there for him. They were flexible, caring and went the extra mile for dad. It meant the world to us. I would highly recommend!

If your loved one has an issue they want them gone. Their business model is max profit for very least effort. They don't consider the pleas of family or want to be part of the solution. It's truly sad because it seemed like it was joyous. They should paint the fence that claims it's a great place
