I had a great experience visiting and talking to Curtis Miree. My mom's cognitive health declined rapidly and I had effectively two weeks to find a community for her. One of those weeks included Christmas. After the tour I sat in my car for a few minutes, called my wife, and walked right back in to start the process. The facilities were spotless and there was such a positive energy with the staff I met.

Shannon helped us through the decision to have our sister get kind care in her journey. We feel the experience will give our sister a better quality of life and give our family peace of mind. Thank you and the outstanding team.

My family's experience at Grace Point Place in Oak Lawn, Il. was outstanding!!! My mom went into Grace Point after being hospitalized for a fall and was there for about 6 weeks. During this time she received the most excellent care! My dad, her husband of 55 years, was allowed to stay in her private room with her 24/7 if they wished. This facility was always clean and the food was very much to their liking. There were plenty of activities daily. The staff was kind, caring and very efficient. I felt incredibly safe having them there as they were very comfortable and well taken care of. My mom did so well with the physical therapy that she was able to return home even earlier than we expected. We were always greeted warmly and treated well when we visited. They even let me bring my dog there to visit! I can't say enough about Shannon, Stephanie, Jeen and everyone else at Grace Point who was beyond helpful to us! They did everything they could to make a difficult situation easier. I highly recommend Grace Point for anyone in need of an amazing place for their loved one. They truly treated my family as if they were their own.

GRACE POINT PLACE has been my saving grace. My 94 year old dad had an accident in June 2022 that excellerated his dementia. After trying almost everything, my father's caregiver suggested Grace Point. I am an only child and my dad is a large part of my world but he needed more then my home could offer. My dad has been a resident for a bit over a week. He is so calm and content. He loves all the staff, Tiffany, Brianna, Michelle, the very nice CNA that shaves him ( sorry I forgot his name) and Linda to name a few. They are very welcoming. I was concerned because my dad lost most of his english after his accident. The staff have been great with my dad's needs. They have figured out translations when needed. Shannon has been great with my many many questions. She was also very supportive when trying to make very difficult decisions. I am able to breath knowing my dad is safe and in a place that he is comfortable. The only suggestion I would have is to give us an easy way to get a quick update when we are unable to stop in for a visit. I don't want to interupt the nurse or categivers from the residence care to update me with a phone call. If there was a way to possibly text an update. I know some daycares are able to update parents this way about their children. Thank you to all the staff at Grace Point. You are truly some very special people. Dementia is horrible it is the worse thing that has ever happened to our family but Grace Point is helping us keep my dad happy and calm.
