I have to assume that the owner of this business is deleting negative reviews. There is absolutely no way that this many people have had satisfactory care at this place. It's dirty, the nurses are rude and don't seem to care about the patients, its so understaffed that an elderly patient in a wheelchair had to let me in the building because nobody was there to let me in... its just terrible. If you really care about a person, you wouldnt send them here.

From the afternoon she got there till evening when they didn't have 3 of her nighttime meds very important she has those meds or the supplies needed to flush her Billary tube and change the dressing or even know what a billary drain is having to go home get the 3 meds it's imperative she has at night 1 of those is her pain medication she is supposed to have every 6 hrs and me going home to get the saline syringes needed and bandages needed (3) and coming up there before 8 to find out they lost the saline syringes and the bandages I knew this was going to be bad realizing they can't give her the nursing care and observation she needs I don't understand why they said they could care for her she needs the physical and other therapy but they don't have the staff to give her the nursing care she needs . Most of the staff work really hard and as I observe d are overwhelmed by them only staffing at the state minimum. So if you or a loved one needs more than a nursing home and minimum physical and occupational therapy this is not the place my Wife was put on a quarter of a residents room (they try and tell me insurance will not pay for a private room but they put my Wife in a quarter of someone's room and probably bill the insurance for half a room don't choose this place mostly hard working nice but overwhelmed staff with only state minimum of staff. But the head nurse on days during the week is a rude power hungry nasty attitude person with no proffesionalism. This is not the place. No wonder so.many people said don't let her be there we all have had relatives who have had bad experiences there .pretty much a bad experience for my wife. I and my family do not recommend this place. Hope I dont regret writing this review before we get my Wife discharged but after the way me and my teenager Daughter were treated after questioning something about my Wife's care by the head nurse who has no professionalism I had to write this. We thought she was being sent to somewhere nice, caring and professional like ths Piont on Brunswick.

I am incredibly grateful for the excellent care my mother received during her rehabilitation at The Elms Retirement Village. The entire team consistently went above and beyond to ensure her needs were fully met and that she felt truly cared for. Their kindness and empathy were evident in every interaction. It’s clear that strong leadership plays a key role in supporting the staff and fostering such a compassionate environment.
