My mother has been at Discovery Village (Assisted Living) for about a year now. Prior to that, she spent two years at another senior living facility. In comparing the two, the staff, level of care and quality of food at Discovery Village far exceeds that of the previous location. We’ve been extremely pleased—not only with the care and services provided, but also with the overall atmosphere, location, and the facility itself!

I’ve lived here less than a month and am already happy with; my decision! The staff is amazing, especially Kathy Tidwell who guided me through the learning and application process. Her caring and kindness will not be forgotten. She has been attentive and helpful in every aspect of my journey to a more secure and comfortable life! Everyone I’ve met has been exceptional, including their new Director, Steve. I would recommend this village to anyone seeking a beautiful, safe and worthwhile future as a senior citizen in San Antonio.

I cannot say enough positive things about our initial experience with Discovery Village! Our first visit we were met by the MOST compassionate, caring person, Kathy, who took the extra time to calm nerves and talk about this new transition for my family member. We have just received the keys and are continued to be blessed by Kathy's wonderful customer care -- they have our money, so they could have dropped the "show". She personally answers question via text and is very quick to providing any information we need as we prepare to move in next week! The community is also so kind and friendly! From residents to employees we are greeted regularly with smiles and friendly conversation. I am so happy we found Discovery Village.

Discovery Village is a vibrant and welcoming community! The social calendar, led by the incredible Activities Director, Mattie, is packed with engaging and fun events that keep residents active and connected. The care team, both in wellness and memory care, is outstanding—compassionate, attentive, and deeply dedicated to each resident. The directors are phenomenal, creating an environment where residents are genuinely happy and well cared for. A truly wonderful place for seniors to call home!
