Seamless continuity of care. Their sub-acute rehab wing (Mountainview Gardens) is amazing and a highlight to how well they communicate with outside home care agencies when a resident returns to their independent apartment. As a nurse, I value the clinical oversight at Cedar Crest; they make the transition from rehab to home-based care incredibly smooth for my families.

Today is Memorial Day Monday, and this community is made up of senior citizens — many of whom naturally struggle with memory loss. When I went to get food for my grandmother today, I was informed that because it’s a holiday, residents had to place their dinner orders before 10 AM in order to receive a meal tonight. I was also told that if a resident has a guest today, they are not allowed to use their meal points for them and must instead pay $25. In other words, my grandmother forgot to order her meal before 10 AM, and now she is expected to go without dinner. It is incredibly upsetting that a facility charging such high prices would leave elderly residents without food on a holiday over something as simple and understandable as forgetting a cutoff time.

Mesdames, Thank you very much for answering my note as quickly as you could. What I find really surprising is that...mind you, this has nothing to do with the care you give my sister and the other men and women in your service... is that I couldn't reach my sister during the last weekend, January 24-25, 2026, my calls were categorically refused. For me, I feel that if my sister, i.e. my nephews, are paying $18,000 to CedarCrest per month and have been doing so since last May, 2025, how is it that the telephone goes dead on the weekend ?  Frankly, I find this incredible... I'd like to know who manages the switchboard/dispatcher at CedarCrest and Mountainview Gardens where my sister is now living. I look forward to hearing from whoever is directly concerned in this matter, Ametivet
