We have designed our apartments to feel and function like a home, with kitchens, bathrooms and plenty of light from the windows. Our community is located on a hilltop, and many of our apartments have views of tranquil wooded areas and natural wildlife. And we also have fun shared spaces to enjoy, like our outdoor putting green, which is a perfect way to have some fun with friends. My father, Max Krown, was a resident at Brookdale Wayne, NJ until his passing in January 2026. During his time there, he interacted with Dovie, The Director of Resident Engagement. She is fantastic at her job and as a person. Dovie always has the residents engaged in fun activities including crafts and games. She brings in entertainment singers and informational programs. When Dad turned 100 years old, she helped me decorate with balloons and set up tables for memorabilia and the guests. This was above and beyond her duties. Dovie is a wonderful, engaging person. Any additional projects for the residents would help her diversify the programs for all. At holiday time, Dovie creates beautiful displays in the lobby. This offers a welcoming tone for all who enter. Please know my Dad enjoyed his stay in Brookdale. Much of his enjoyment was due to Dovie and the staff.

Our experience started 6 months ago when we were looking for a place for dad. Brookdale Wayne NJ was the first residence we toured and definitely left us feeling this was the place. It started with Joe Orlando giving us a tour and when we decided to move forward, Joe helped us immensely with the process. We were on a time constraint and he made this happen. Once we had dad moved in, the entire staff was welcoming and attentive to his needs and continues to be so. Dad has been there 6 months now, feels extremely comfortable and we feel are grateful that he is safe and well taken care of. Also noteworthy is how communicative and friendly everyone is including nurses, therapists and staff and the level of transparency. We are very happy to have found Brookdale Wayne NJ and appreciate their excellence in providing exceptional care.

Our mother was at Brookdale Wayne for 9-1/2 years. Beginning with an assisted living apartment on the third floor and ending in their memory care unit for the last few months of her life. She died peacefully in her sleep soon after her 99th birthday. The love and care our mother received at Brookdale Wayne was incomparable. Every time we would visit her she would tell us how much she loved her apartment, how comfortable she was there, and how everyone was so warm and friendly. If you are considering Brookdale Wayne for a loved one, I would not hesitate. We would highly recommend them. The Caravaglia family

Brookdale has been absolutely fabulous for my dad! The care is exceptional and the staff helps everyone feel at home. I highly recommend Brookdale for any seniors that require assisted living.
