Casa de las Campanas

We moved in nine months ago and I've enjoyed many things here, such as the exercise and dance classes, the fantastic hobby shop (woodworking), the outdoor swimming pool and various lectures and musical events to name a few. However, the thing that I like the most, and it came as a bit of a surprise, is the community feeling. My wife and I have made many new friends and enjoy meals and activities with people our age and with similar life experiences. We have met so many interesting people. Our birthdays were last month and we received many greeting cards and birthday wishes. I really feel at home.

By the end of the tour, we found ourselves not wanting to wait to move forward because of how confident and reassured she made us feel about the community and the lifestyle offered there. During our visit, we also had the chance to meet Stephanie, the Executive Director, who was so kind, welcoming, and engaging. You could instantly tell there is strong leadership and a positive culture throughout the entire community. Every resident and staff member we encountered seemed happy and proud to be there, which says everything. Casa de las Campanas truly feels like a place where people can thrive, not just live. Highly, highly recommend touring this community if you are considering senior living options. It completely changed our expectations.

The most difficult decision when downsizing from a single-family midsize home to an apartment at Casa de las Campus is too have the same feeling of living in the neighborhood. On my move-in day, I was greeted by all my neighbors and immediately felt that I was still in the neighborhood. I was invited to many activities and meals once I was settled. The entire staff at Casa is professional and always willing to help. The activities and many educational seminars/presentations are excellent. I can be as busy as I choose to be with the activities that are planned throughout the day, seven days a week. Three different venues of restaurants gives my appetite, many choices, not to mention the friends I meet and have meals with throughout the week. For those of us that don’t drive, Casa makes it easy to get around town to do necessary shopping or doctors appointments. Grounds are kept impeccable and clean. After 15 months of living in Casa, I’m glad I made a decision to move here.

My parents moved into Casa because it was time and this place has been amazing since day one. Not because of the dedicated staff making everything seamlessly operate, nor the cleanliness of every single place we had the pleasure of seeing, but it is because my parents are part of a close knit community that care for each other. It is truly amazing how many times my parents have postponed talking with me because they were involved in some type of activity in the community. If you are looking for a place where you can trust that your family will be well taken care of and get involved with a great community, then this place is an amazingly easy 5 star choice for you!!
