I have lived at Carefree for almost a year. The grounds are well kept. The apartments are spacious. There is no assigned parking which can be a problem getting a space near your residence. For a Senior Community you will encounter lots of stairs and an old elevator. Good luck dealing with the neighbors. I ended up with a complainer who complains endlessly about everything in the world. The front office then replays the complaint as if I were a child. For the amount of rent charged one would expect respect and courtesy from the front office. All the front office wants to do is talk about rules and procedures. I have advised I want to move at the end of the lease. Again, the front office talks procedure and rules.

Carefree Willows is a very comfortable residence with many activities geared for active seniors. The apartments are generously sized, quiet and surrounded by attractive mature landscaping giving the feeling of resort living. But the main feature that makes Carefree Willows outstanding are the numerous opportunities for activity and socializing that are available. Carefree has a newly remodeled fitness center with loads of modern equipment, and a large outdoor pool and spa which are heated year-round. Volunteers lead chair exercise sessions three times a week; you can even learn to line dance! Stop in the clubhouse any time of the day and have a cup of coffee with some of your new friends or start your day by enjoying a continental breakfast or pastry in the morning. You will often find card games, dominoes, and other games taking place; or try your luck at a regularly scheduled Bingo session. If you’re musically inclined, you can participate in karaoke or dance your heart out at one of the Friday Happy Hours. Feel the need to get away? You can hop on the Carefree “Fun Bus” for a run to restaurants, casinos, shopping malls or just the grocery store. So, if you are looking for a living situation that offers more than just a place to hang your hat, check out the activities at Carefree Willows. I’ve been having fun here for over four years and anticipate many more years to come.

We lived there for a short time and it was terrible. The office staff allowed Mike Funk to enter our apartment and steal stuff

I have been a resident here at Carefree Senior living for over 8 years!!The amenities are amazing, you get free breakfast every morning, a wonderful lunch on Thursdays for $4,; where can you get a lunch for $4? We have Bingo twice a week for a $5 buy in! Chair exercises Monday Wednesday and Friday water aerobics on Monday Wednesday and Friday; the parties on Fridays are amazing with live entertainment with food and drinks; and the list goes on and on,! The office staff and the maintenance staff are amazing they help you out whenever you need it! Move in here and you will love it!!!!
