We’re an assisted living community in Matthews, North Carolina, that comes with restaurant-style dining, resort-like amenities and attentive staff. And our cozy campus is located in a quiet neighborhood, close to Brace Family YMCA and adjacent to local restaurants, shops and doctors’ offices.
From the moment you walk through our front doors, you’ll feel right at home. Our community features a cozy fireside living room and charming dining room with large windows that let in plenty of bright natural light. And you’ll love relaxing in the comforts of your apartment, with plush wall-to-wall carpeting, a spacious living area and a full bathroom. We also have two-bedroom friendship suites to choose from. And we’re pet-friendly, so your furry friends can move in as well.
Our friendly staff is here to help with daily living needs like medication management and coordinating your care with outside healthcare providers. They’re available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency. And we’ll do the cooking, cleaning and housework to take that off your plate as well. WOW.....when you walk into Brookdale Weddington Park you can feel very welcomed, the warmth welcoming of the staff including the Executive Director Jennifer F. & Angela L. & Kathleen R. & most importantly the residents that gather together to call this place their home. You will not need to look any further as I rate this Assisted Living Facility 5-Stars! You will not be disappointed.

My Aunt resided at Brookdale Carriage Club for a year. When it was time for her to move to assisted living, I visited many facilities both in the Brookdale network and also those owned by other companies. After several visits to Brookdale Weddington I decided this was the place where my Aunt needed to live. I was impressed with the input from the staff. I also observed the residents interacting with staff and each other. She has been here 7 months. The staff and management have all been helpful and responsive to my requests. Everyone has a bright, happy attitude. This is my Aunts home and she is being cared for with dignity and respect. The activities staff has been great about encouraging her to participate in activities and actually coming to her room to remind her. The facility is kept clean and orderly. I am happy with my decision - I can rest easily knowing that the professional staff is monitoring her and meeting her needs.

Brookdale Weddington Park has been WONDERFUL for my parents who have been residents there for almost 8 months. Jennifer Tucker and her administrative staff couldn't be any nicer or more helpful! Every time I walk through the doors I am welcomed with a smile - and it didn't take long for them to know my name! The nursing staff is fabulous too and it's obvious they care about Mom & Dad :) A couple weeks ago my mom had to go to the emergency room for a UTI and I rode in the ambulance cab. The EMT asked what I thought about Brookdale Weddington Park, to which I replied, "It's been great for my parents." He said he had been to LOTS of facilities and this one is by far one of the best. I agree!!

It may not be perfect, but it is the BEST decision we made for the care of our parents. Care Staff and Administration truly goes out of their way to make my parents feel loved and cared for. No more sleepless nights and constant worry.
