We’re a charming memory care community in Vero Beach, Florida, nestled on tropical landscaped grounds, providing a cozy place to call home. We’re also conveniently around the corner from local shops, restaurants, medical centers and adjacent to McKee Botanical Gardens.

With our industry-leading memory care program, we take a person-centered approach to care. Our specialty-trained caregivers lead residents down a daily path of enrichment, which nourishes their current levels of skills and allows them to explore their hobbies and passions. Seniors in our care thrive, even with advanced expressions of their diseases. And they also enjoy daily research-backed activities and social events like:

  • Gentle group fitness sessions

  • Games like Ring Toss, Cornhole, cards and Checkers

  • Music-themed events like sing-alongs

  • Brain-boosting games and trivia nights

  • Meetings with our resident Book Club

 

We’ll also help with daily living needs like bathing, dressing, dining and mobility and will handle the cooking, cleaning and home maintenance. And our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency.

    Great care, friendly staff, and my mother has made many new friends. Kimberly is outstanding with the residents. Georgia is a great director. Everything is always clean and they go out of their way to make the residents feel like part of a community.

    Kim has been amazing in helping our family member transition to the living facility. She has handled all of our needs and questions with grace and has made the transition so successful. She always has a smile on her face and is assisting where needed.

    Brookdale is one of the best decisions our family has made. From the moment we toured the facility, we were impressed with the warm environment and friendly and caring team of professionals.     My younger sister is wheelchair bound now and searched for an assisted living facility that would be a good fit for her. Brookdale Vero Beach South is such a place. The care and compassion that I witnessed while I visited her for a week was awesome. The staff took extra special care of her and were so attentive to her needs. Even though at 60 years old and being the youngest resident, she is slowly becoming more accustomed to being there. The entire staff is wonderful. Especially Brendia, Kate "the great", Tiffany, Anita, Dèena, Terese, Beverly the kitchen staff and anyone else I missed!!😊 Obviously, I am very pleased with this facility. So if you are looking for a wonderful place for your loved one, choose Brookdale Vero Beach South!
