We’re an independent living community located in the Detroit suburb of Novi, with plenty of shopping, entertainment and dining options nearby. We’re also close to outdoor attractions like Walled Lake, Lakeshore Park and Pavilion Shore Park.

As a resident, you’ll be able to choose your apartment from a variety of floor plans. Your home will come with large sunny windows, a spacious living area, walk-in closet, kitchen and bathroom. You’ll love meeting friends for dinner in our
restaurant-style dining room, grabbing a book from the library and sipping coffee in our charming garden courtyard. We also have guest suites, a game room, salon, fireside living room, and postal and concierge services.
And if you’re looking for things to keep you busy, we have many activities to choose from. Start your morning with your favorite fitness class, try your hand at some Wii bowling or play cards with poker club. We also have weekly devotional services, resident birthday parties and plenty of holiday festivities.

Our mom's dementia was progressing quickly after our dad passed away, and there was no way she could live on her own. We were grateful to find a place in southeast Michigan, closer to family, that promoted aging-in-place. We have had such a positive experience with Brookdale Novi. The staff knew our names long before we knew theirs, and were helping us move things into mom's new apartment on move-in day. They made an extremely emotional time so much easier by their knowledge and warm welcome. Any service a resident might need is either already there, or just a quick call away. There is a physical therapy practice and home care agency housed inside the building. We are grateful we can keep mom in one place, and we know we don't have to move her as her memory declines, because the home care agency offers services to help mom as she needs it. Brookdale also contracts with a nearby medical practice who have designated nurse practitioners and doctors who visit on a weekly basis for residents who may need to be seen for health issues. Brookdale has a driver who can take residents to appointments, or to the grocery store. The staff is engaged with the residents, and have a good sense of when something seems 'off' with a resident. They do a great job communicating with family if concerns arise, and are quick to respond to concerns you might have. It has been a comfort to know whatever mom needs, Brookdale Novi will have it covered. They are a second family to mom, and to us. We are grateful.

I've had the pleasure to visit Brookdale Novi numerous times this year and I absolutely love the positive energy you feel when you walk in. They have fun daily activities for their residents, a huge dining room, a fun study/billiards room, a beautiful movie theatre, and a really cool central fireplace! The residents that I met love living there and really enjoy the community that Brookdale created. Laura and her staff have been great to work with and I loving visiting! If you're considering an Independent Living facility, Brookdale Novi should be on your list to tour!

Brookdale is the worst. My mom is a resident there. The staff does the bare minimum, probably because of the pay scale. She is completely dependent on them, and they leave her sitting in her wheel chair for hours on end. The wheel chair not only smells of urine, but a smell much worse than you can imagine. I wouldn't recommend Brookdale to my worse enemy!

The staff is warm & friendly. The residents seem happy and enjoy their home. I enjoy visiting Brookdale Novi.
