Located in Waco, Texas, we’re right around the corner from a variety of shops, restaurants, dry cleaners, banks, and medical centers. Our assisted living community is designed to take the stress out of your retired years by helping with some daily tasks– thus giving you more time to focus on doing, well, whatever you want. That’s the beauty of retirement, isn’t it?
With assisted living, our staff is available to help manage your medications, assist with dressing and bathing, coordinate with outside healthcare providers and more. And don’t even think about doing your own laundry. We’re here to keep your apartment clean, tackle home maintenance, and serve you three meals a day. Our goal is to help out where we can while providing you with the ability to maintain your active and independent lifestyle. And our staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to be alerted to an emergency.
Our apartments come in a variety of floor plans, each featuring ample living area, storage, and a bathroom. And whichever you choose, you’ll have fun decorating your place to your style. We’re also pet friendly – because, after all, pets are family too. You’ll also enjoy reading by the fireplace in our communal living room, working on a puzzle with a friend in the game room or relaxing in the courtyard garden. Our community also features an on-site theater, beauty salon and barbershop, and coordinated transportation services.

Brookdale Lakeshore was the best decision we ever made for mom due to her worsening dementia. The staff Is kind and warm, and most of all she is SAFE there. She was very hesitant to leave her home. However she is nothing but smiles when we visit and has not asked to go "home" in the 4 months she has been there. She enjoys the many outings and activities Brookdale offers when she is not busy with her dog, that she was able to take with her :) Thank you Ed and staff!

Brookdale Lakeshore is the perfect place for my mother. The staff is caring and always on top of any situation that occurs. There are always activities going on and the food they serve is amazing. My mother went from 101 pounds to 118 pounds in just the short time she's been there. Every time I visit she looks healthier and happier then when she was at home. Awesome place would highly recommend.

Brookdale Lakeshore is a loving and compassionate community. I have experienced first hand how the staff genuinely care for their residents. It has been a privilege getting to know the staff, they are always welcoming and make you feel like part of the Brookdale family. I would definitely recommend this facility to my family and friends.

We love Ms Betty and her staff at Brookdale Lakeshore. Ms Dee, Ms Olga, Ms Janice, Ms Alexia who treat our mother with the utmost love and respect. The rest of the new amazing staff (I don’t know all their name yet) also getting to know her and are always so kind. The chefs make delicious meals (we know we have eaten there too) and do their best to accommodate everyone’s needs. The activities and outings are fun and engaging and they do a wonderful job of building community. My mom has so many friends now and it has truly been a blessing and peace of mind for us to have her in such a great environment. We already miss Ms Jaylynn but if you are looking for a great place for your loved ones give Mr Ed a call he will take great care of you to help make it a smooth transition. Thanks Brookdale Lakeshore you are our new extended family!!
