I am beyond words at the level of care, love and compassion my MIL has received. The transition was as smooth as we had prayed for. The staff have stayed in constant contact with us, keeping us updated on her progress even including pictures. From the beginning, first tour, and the process of leading up to finally determining it was time for the move, the entire staff at The Delaney are beyond excellent. I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful, interactive, safe and loving place for the woman who has always been loving and kind to us. Thank you!

I had a great experience during my time in the Baylor elder connection program. I gained so much wisdom from the elder I was paired with. The Delaney had so many things we could do as we learned from one another and that was very important. It gave the elders access to a variety of things to do and not just be contained to a room. I loved the freedom the elders have even if it is within the Delaney. They also provided meals for us when we visited and an end of the semester celebration. We celebrated all that we learned from one another and it brought so much joy to the elders and us. Thank you so much for this experience. Lori did a wonderful job facilitating this program! 🥰

As your parents begin to age, you start to listen and notice what others are saying about assisted or independent living! Mom had a front row seat as she visited others ahead of her! About four years ago, mom had a surgery that required rehab on the back end. The Delaney Lake Waco was a perfect fit. They had PT available for mom and a staff that loved and cared for her. In some ways it has been a Waco reunion for her. She has met some of the dearest people that have brought laughter and joy to everyday life. We highly recommend the Delaney Lake Waco! As mom says, the food is pretty good, it’s actually really good since we eat with her quite often. From Candy and Alma at the front desk, Justin that sees her in after we’ve kept her on the go too late, the nursing staff that assist mom and Lori that handles activities and helped us surprise mom with the most beautiful 90th birthday party, it’s HOME!! The staff and care have been perfect for mom. It just provides the quality of life you hope for your parents to enjoy!

My great grandmother lives at The Delaney and absolutely loves it. It is such a nice residence for anyone looking. This past weekend we had a joint birthday celebration in their main bistro area. It turned out fabulous! And without question would have not been pulled together the way it did without Lori! She is the Delaney’s Director of Life Enrichment and she pulled out all the stops! Helped me with not only serving supplies for the party, gifted us a “90” birthday balloon, was my florist putting all the bouquets together, cut and served the cake, and much more! Lori was there before the party to help set up, during to make sure everything was running smoothly, and helped with the clean up. Seriously above and beyond! I can’t say enough good things about her and all the staff that helped pull this party together. Forever grateful! 🌻🩵💛💙
