To "Joseph Petroci", You are not this person. The real one did not write this untrue, false review. This is identity theft which is a crime. I'm assuming someone from the rehab/nursing home where my mother-in-law has temporarily stayed has falsely used my brother-in-laws name to write this untrue review. The reason I am thinking this is because "someone" is mad she is going back to Brookdale where she has been for the past 2 years and loves it there. They are caring and compassionate and they took her in when no one else would! She has never complained about the staff or anything else at Brookdale. But being at this rehab/nursing home has caused her undo stress, anger, and fear. We are grateful she is leaving that horrible rehab/nursing home and returning to Brookdale in Kenmore where a 91 year old woman can live in peace.

We moved my mother here four-and-a-half years ago (she recently passed away). There were a few small issues that would come up here or there but we were very happy 95% of the time...especially where it counts. It was clean, staffed with kind and caring people, they communicated well, they navigated COVID without a real 'outbreak' (a few people were infected out in the community and did not spread within the building). Most telling is that many of the staff and residents from 4.5 years ago are still there. Many are close friends with one another. When my mom passed we got hugs and condolences from so many of the staff there. Being in an 'old folks' home is not going to be fun for anybody, but they did a great job and many people are thriving quite well. Another positive is the local area. Kenmore downtown is small but has several nice restaurants and shops that are a quick walk (or roll) away. We were able to take my mom out frequently without a big issue. We have no regrets about putting my mom in their care for the last years of her life. It's so much better than so many other places.

Our family couldn't be more appreciative of the staff, management and Hospice care provided for our father during his stay at Brookdale Kenmore. Through a very difficult time, all aspects and personnel of the facility we're helpful, caring, very involved, compassionate and comforting.
