My mother is here and has been there six months, and I am very pleased. I looked at several places and decided upon Brickmont. It is a beautiful, clean, decorated facility with lots of personal touches. They have been under new management for at least the past six months and there have been changes so I cannot speak for reviews prior to that time. No place is perfect, and we had our share of difficulties trying to get billing sorted out as well but aside from that she is well cared for. (She is not in memory care so I cannot speak for that section ). I feel very confident in keeping her there. It is safe, 3 meals a day, activities, etc.. aide Yvonne and Jackie the activity person are amazing. The only thing I wish it had more outside spaces. It has two small patios, fully enclosed, and I think it would be nice to have more of an outdoor space or walking path . Other than that I couldn’t ask for anything else. I should add I live close by and able to visit her often so this is also helpful. Not sure about trying to get information from the outside.

The nurse (LaTresh) is not very friendly and speaks in a condescending tone. Many other families feel this same way. She's especially bad/rude when it's just you and her one on one. In a public setting, she's all smiles though. She is definitely not a people person, and is in the wrong job. Even the staff feel she is not nice. She's just an LPN, too.

I don’t think this place is best if you’re looking for employment or if your Mom needs memory care help . My sister recently left Brickmont this year because the management unprofessional , she said the memory care unit is very understaffed. They have 3 CNA for 35 people which is awful on a shift . An older lady Randa treats her memory care CNAs like slaves . Nurse Nicole is racist towards her own kind and the staff and family members says she’s very rude . The workers hardly get brake times so they exhausted . Many of african people work there and not fully certified professional. The front desk lady that works there long time is very rude especially to me when I came to visit my sister . She needs to be fired.My sister also stated that the food menu always repeats itself every week.This place had new owners twice this year . I am happy my sister went to another assisted living not far away . I was very unhappy to see my sister complaining about her job situation every single day.

I can not say enough how much I appreciate everyone at Brickmont of West Cobb when deciding on an assisted living for my dad. Alice Jane, Sharon, Adeola and the concierge at the front desk were absolutely amazing to work with. They cared so much for my dad and were helpful in every way. The dining area was such a beautiful place for him to gather and talk with friends. I’m so thankful for the experience he had at Brickmont with his loving and caring nurses and med techs. Thank you Sharon for giving my dad the opportunity to live there💓
