Beautiful facility. Love the staff. Judy works tirelessly to make sure the patients are well cared for and supported both emotionally and physically. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, friendly competent assisted living facility.

Mom stayed at Briarwood's Memory Care for over a year. I always knew she was safe and well taken care of and the facility was always clean. The staff members seemed to truly care about the residents and the facility manager was always responsive and helpful with any of our concerns.

My parents moved into the facility together 8 months ago. Both have had wonderful care. The staff is amazing, always thinking up creative things to do with residents. My parents have had a difficult time giving up their independence at age 90, but again the staff has tried to help them make the transition easier. Their personal care is amazing also, as they are both healthy, clean and fed delicious Chef cooked meals. I would not hesitate recommending this facility. Allegan is very lucky to have. I am so grateful for the care and concern my parents have received.

My dad moved into Briarwood in 2023. His stay there ended up being unexpectedly brief, but the Staff were five-star all the way. Everyone that we came into contact with were always helpful, kind, and never made you feel as though they didn't have time for you. The afternoon that he passed, the Director stopped everything she had going on and sat with me to comfort and support. In 2024, my mom also stayed at Briarwood for a short time. This situation brought with it very challenging circumstances with family estrangements. Again, five-stars all the way. Everyone, and I mean everyone at every level, went above and beyond to help with making her comfortable despite the extra challenges our family dynamics brought. The community is very nicely appointed/decorated, the rooms are nice sized, everything is always clean. And there is *always* something fun going on with activities for the residents...the Activities Director is so fun and creative! I would highly recommend this little assisted living jewel to anyone who has a family member needing such services.
