Atria on west 86th street has given my mother a second chance. She initially moved to Atria underweight and not doing well at all health wise. Through structure, routines, help from the wellness dept and great food- she has made a full comeback and is healthier than she has been in years prior to her even finding Atria. I look forward to her continuous improvement /and better quality of life. It was the right match.

I'm moved in 4 months ago, so far everything about Atria West 86th has been exceptional. The care from the staff is remarkable, the food is delicious and I actually look forward to eating here. I try to participate in all activities. Every week we have amazing trips to Broadway shows, Operas or restaurants. The staff is very friendly and caring.

Atria is not a good place the staff there is not very knowledgeable. The VP runs the Place like a concentration camp undermines all the Employees has Supervisors that don't know what they are doing. Their was a Maintenance Director there that was doing such a good job making chances for the better and left all of a sudden Don't know what happen there. Now there is this Employee Raj who doesn't know anything the place is not functioning the same. there is so many things that are not working in this place including the heat always an issue. Follow up I was told this information would be forwarded to a senior vice president heard that before. The VP of Atria West 86th Street needs to go get rid of Sheridan Daniels he is the cause of all the mayhem in this location along with a bunch of other staff doing illegal this drinking on the job going out on Thursdays using company credit cards to pay for drinks food (Business Associate-AC) ( Tenant Manager-EL) ( Maintenance Staff-R). All information given to me by inside staff. The bottom line is All the Management staff care about is receiving bonuses, staff is using this place for their own needs not the Seniors needs. this place needs a shake up. They are to many staff leaving someone check on this. Good workers are leaving. Bad staff is staying ? Follow up to Original Post and Follow up Atria West 86th Street will never change unless they get RID of Sheridan Daniels he is not a good leader very shelf centered, The Employees there are having a good time under his watch partying every Thursday night Drinking with Company Funds on the Job, HR Department Head A.C, Tenant Manager E.L, Maintenance Raj. Why doesn't upper management realize and see Why all the Past Employees are leaving check in the last year see how many good employees left and Why.
