Our 94 yr old mom has lived at Sunrise of Edgewater since 12/2025 and receives a high level of assistance. The premises are bright, spacious, clean and inviting with easy access to outdoor areas to enjoy. Staff members are helpful, caring and kind. Meals are varied with alternative choices daily. Each day there’s various activities for the residents to choose from, as well as opportunities to participate in outings to places of interest. We are very pleased with Sunrise of Edgewater.

My mom has been at Sunrise of Edgewater for 2 years. I would like to thank the Executive Director Sarah for always lending a helping hand. It was time for my mom to move to another town and Sarah was able to secure a spot at a sister Sunrise Senior Living in Bergen County. I will always be grateful for her help. Thank you to Lars who always goes above and beyond his job to make the residents feel like his own family. He truly cares for the residents and it shows! I will miss seeing Olivia on a daily basis. She was always there to listen, talk and help. She is a special person. Kristina and Olivia were instrumental in getting my mom back to Sunrise after a long rehab stay. They really cared. The day I met Sandra I felt like she was an old friend, I will miss her too. To all of the caregivers who took exceptional care of my mom when she could hardly care for herself…..I will forever be grateful. They do their job with love. Please consider Sunrise of Edgewater if you are needing a place for your loved one. You will not be disappointed.

From the moment we walked into Sunrise Senior Living in Edgewater, we knew this was a special place. A heartfelt thank you to General Manager Lars, whose kindness, patience, and genuine compassion helped my sister and me navigate one of the most difficult family decisions we’ve ever faced. He took the time to answer every question, making us feel informed, welcomed, and confident every step of the way. The entire staff reflects that same caring spirit, and the community is absolutely beautiful. “Mansion living” truly describes the experience. More importantly, it feels like home, where residents are treated with dignity, warmth, and respect. While this was not an easy decision, Sunrise gave us complete peace of mind. God bless Lars, the incredible staff, and the wonderful residents who make this such an extraordinary community. We would recommend Sunrise Edgewater without hesitation.

We were so lucky to be able to place my mother in law in Sunrise of Edgewater over 3 years ago. She has thrived tremendously in the care of all the amazing staff. At 93 and wheel chair bound she requires much care. She loves the community and participates in many of the activities provided. From the director to the cleaning folks this assisted living home is by far a wonderful place for loved ones to call home. The staff are always pleasant, friendly & go above and beyond in every way. Knowing Mom is in a safe, happy, clean and comfortable place means the world to our family. Debbie & Jim Donnelly
