Enjoyed my meeting and tour with Josephine. The apartments are very, very nice!! And there is a lot of flexibility of arrangements that can be made to meet your needs. The complex includes a library, activity room, beauty shop, Chapel, laundry facilities on each floor, a large pleasant dining room serving dinner everyday. And there are lovely outdoor areas for walking or sitting. I would definitely recommend that you take a look at Resurrection Village!!!

I was visiting a friend there. The facility was very nice and clean. All the staff were polite, attentive and helpful. The food looked okay but no leafy green vegetables were on the trays - there was a burger, corn, peas, juice, and a rice crispy treat. She eats very little and her CNA informed that she usually has a few bites at 8:00 PM - the time she used to eat dinner when she was at home. The lady I was visiting didn’t eat any of it anyway. She enjoyed a Filipino egg roll that a woman from her old church made for her and a piece of a Ghirardelli chocolate bar that I brought her. The staff offered to cut up and dice a beautiful ripe mango that another friend gave us to bring her. I don’t know why she didn’t peel it, cut it up, and place it in a plastic container for her. Considering that none of these places is great and one always feels that there’s no place like home, I’m sure this is one of the better places in the Chicagoland area.

Mine experience at Ascension, Living was quite enjoyable. Miss Susie was most helpful, ,courteous/respectful and-professional. The office personnel were pleasant and patient. I experienced a day that was not wasted. Thank you so much to all.

This is a five generation picture taken on your beautiful grounds today. We were all impressed with the friendly staff and residents. My Mom feels safe and watched over yet can still be independent. It’s the perfect spot for her to spend her golden years.
