Thoughtfully designed and run. In all the core ways, they nail the things that really seem most important to good dementia care - safe comforting pleasant home-like feeling, patient and committed and good-natured staff, layout and facilities that create a sense of community and lets residents freely move around safely without feeling restricted (including outside weather-permitting!), personalized care with accommodation for residents' unique needs and behaviors, actively engaging residents in thoughtful activities to make for a good quality of life.

My mom has been living at Artis for over a year now. I've been extremely pleased with the love and care she continues to receive from the entire staff. The most important thing to me is that I feel my mother is safe. I love that there's an excellent nursing staff 24/7. My mom's caregivers are so patient. My mom can also leave her room and walk around the facility (where there is always staff watching), so she's not stuck in her room. The staff leading the daily activities are so creative! The residents receive wonderful stimulation. From the moment I walk in the door and say hello to the delightful and helpful front desk staff to the moment I leave feeling that I made the right choice, I'm so glad I found this fabulous community for my mom. THANK YOU!

The people are so terrific at Artis Senior Center! We felt this was the best place for our elderly father. The Huntingdon Valley location is so easy and convenient for us to visit him. Kerrie helped us with all of the paperwork and made it an easy move in process. Once there, we met Tara who really made my father smile and feel at home. Tara always checks to see how my father is doing each and every day and she reaches out to us to let us know. Thank you to all of the staff who are all really great and take good care of him.

I can never ever say how amazing Artis HV and their staff are. My father was there for roughly 1.5 years and recently passed away from Alzheimers. We knew when we walked out after our tour that this was the place. Everyone there felt like an extension of our family. He was so loved by everyone there and that meant the world to us. My mom was there almost everyday and my brothers and I would get there weekly. We really saw the care that was given. A big shout out to Kerrie, Rhonda, Tara, Charla, Vernice and Anderson (that's just a few of the amazing people )
