Arbor Terrace of Middletown

My mother has been a resident of the independent living community at Arbor Terrace for over three years, and our experience has been wonderful. While my mom is naturally a private person, the dedicated team at Arbor Terrace goes above and beyond to keep her engaged and make her feel like a part of the community. There is a fantastic array of activities to choose from. The daily activities team provides a monthly calendar and even delivers a daily schedule to each resident's door. For those who are tech-savvy like my mom, there's also a convenient app to check out daily events and meal menus. The schedule is always packed with options, including movies several times a week, frequent musical and entertainment performances, games, and special celebrations for holidays. The true blessing of Arbor Terrace is the exceptional staff. Knowing that my mom has access to the activities team, an independent living liaison, and numerous staff members for any support she needs brings me great peace of mind. They provide transportation to her many doctor's appointments and will even run errands for her. I am also deeply grateful for the facility's initiative in bringing in a private home health aide service, which is available seven days a week to provide an extra layer of support. I am especially grateful for Melissa, Chrissy and Anastasiya, who are always available to her, and for Sally, whose presence on the overnight team hives me great comfort. The entire staff has created a supportive and caring environment, and I couldn't be more thankful.

We love having my father in law Vito here. They take good care of him and he is always clean, which is obviously very important. Meg, who oversees the Memory Care section, is always on top of things and communicates frequently with my wife, while Christine is great with the medication and such a caring person. The food is really good (it really is) and I know the residents look forward to having meals in the restaurant. The waiters are always friendly and engaging.

Our experience at Arbor Terrace Middletown was second to none! Given the emotional process of assessing and subsequently moving a loved one into such a facility, our family was well taken care every step of the way by Faithe, Meg, and all of the staff. Our mother is very happy there, and our family is relieved knowing she will receive the proper care in a safe and nurturing environment!

I love that I am part of this community! The staff is warm, organized, and genuinely dedicated to creating meaningful, joyful events for both residents and their loved ones. Every event is thoughtfully planned, and you can feel how much heart goes into making each gathering memorable. What stands out most is the atmosphere, the residents are engaged, families feel welcome, and the team works seamlessly to ensure everything runs beautifully. It’s always an honor to bring music into such a caring environment. I’m also deeply grateful for their professionalism. Payments for services rendered are always timely and handled with integrity something that truly matters to independent entertainers.
