I wish I can say more than I could describe how Arbor Terrace Highland Park is one of my top picks to service transportation. Every time I transfer a new resident from another facility, they are very sincere welcoming the new residents. When I ask residents how they like Arbor Terrace HP, all they give is positive feedback. So I share it to the newcomers. The last resident I transferred to Arbor Terrace HP — when I told her she’d love it there and feel at home, she appreciated it and was glad to know. She didn’t have a good experience from her previous facility and it made her nervous to be in a new one. Overall, spectacular service given by staffs!

My parents were at Arbor for almost four years, and the team there provided a great experience overall. Like any facility there are some bad apples and bruises, but overall we were quite happy they chose Arbor Terrace in Highland Park! We were especially blessed to have some truly passionate folks on our team: Morgan, Kristy, Barbara, Rachel, Sheila, Ibeth, Erin, Jasmine, Ayo, Maya, and Jeff, Miranda, Lily, Natasha, Dominique and Cheri. Yes a great team makes a difference!

Jeff at Arbor Terrace has been a wonderful partner in helping me address my 92-year old mother's needs. He has been extremely responsive in exploring and evaluating different options and the community there seems perfect for her. Having her close by, rather than in Florida, will be beneficial for her and the rest of my family.

This was the 3rd time my wife and I were responsible for moving an elderly parent from independent living to "Assisted Living". As many of you are aware by now, moving a loved one is exhausting and at times overwhelming. The research, site visits, assessments, on top of dealing with your loved one and other family members can be extremely stressful. Which is why I am giving this review for Jeff Altschul and Arbor Terrace Highland Park. We visited 10 potential sites and Arbor Terrace was on our list. Unfortunately, while Highland Park is close to us, Arbor Terrace Highland Park was not close to other family members, nonetheless we visited several times, brought our step mother to visit and met with Jeff Altschul numerous times. Jeff is a good person. He was available to us 24/7 and was extremely honest about the status of our loved one, costs and future care needs. As it turned out, Highland Park was just too far geographically for some family members so we ended up signing a lease with Arbor Terrace Glenview, instead of HP. Going to Arbor Terrace Glenview never would have happened but for Jeff's patience, compassion,. and honesty which gave us peace of mind as we reflected on what would be best as a community. If Arbor Terrace corporate has staff like Jeff, they are doing something right! Hats off to Jeff Altschul! PS: So far so good at Arbor Terrace Glenview.
