Let me start off by saying that Annette, Executive Director has been more than accomodating to both my sister-in-laws needs. It was a difficult transition for the familly and she did everything in her power to help. She has never been unpleasant to us. Michelle and Doris are great too! Always answers our questions and if they don't know will find out for us. The food is great and so is the staff. Dee, the Activities Director is wonderful. Another great feature, the accomodations are all one floor and in a secluded area away from traffic. And yes I would recommend American House-Livonia.

Hi I have lived at the American House Livonia for 6 yrs and I really love living here. Exciting times are happening with a new Executive Director with some new ideas to make this house even better. Tee Dolphin Life Enrichment Director has many activities such as daily coffee club, games and entertainment and birthday celebrations. Mike Walters Maintenance Director is a very special person who gets things done with a sense of urgency and keeps the building and grounds in excellent condition.Besides having a beautiful lobby to sit and chat by the fireplace or in the warmer months outside on the patio.Our chef Vince Fanelli provides us with some great meals and does a cooking demonstration monthly and of course our building is very clean thanks to the housekeeping staff under our Housekeeping/Laundry Director Vince Smith.Weather permitting Tee Dolphin organizes a Fresh Air ride around the metro area and any interesting places.to visit.

I was interested in moving my mom in from the South Gate location to the Livonia location because I have a friend that mother lives there and it is awful how the manager Annette at that location treat the residents , she is so rude and nasty , it as if she hate the senior community I hope that place really truly terminate her for discrimination. So if you are looking for a place for your love one do not go there.

I love American House of Livonia! My experience has been wonderful. My parents, great uncle and long time neighbor while growing up all lived there. My parents will celebrate 70 yrs married this July and I'm so thankful they are still together and AH is the reason why. They are content, happy, well taken care of and very thankful to be there. I feel exactly the same way. They treat the residents like family. I can sleep well and know my parents are doing good. I'd recommend American House in Livonia ❤️
