American House Westland Joy

I just moved in May 7 and Everything was amazing the culinary director Tiffany made ribs with baked beans w/ hamburger meat and sweet corn THE meal was so delicious I called my sister and told the meals was very good! Kristy was very helpful and get the job done Amber was so sweet and helpful with the tour she answers all the questions. Makeba was so nice and explained activities I love bingo as well this was a great choice!

I moved my mom from another assisted living that was closing. Administrator Kristy was very supportive and welcoming with moving and settling my mom into American House Westland Joy. The staff are extremely supportive to both residents and family. I’ve observed the building and my mom’s room to be kept clean and maintained well. I’ve observed frequent offered activities, along with engagement and attentiveness by staff. Residents, including my mom, seem to enjoy living at American House Westland Joy.

The staff here, Kristy, Amber, Makeba and others work hard to make it feel like home. There's always something to do and someone to visit with. A quiet afternoon with a good book in your apartment is always an option too. I've been here almost 7 years...come and find out why.

My mother has lived here for three years and I must say I’ve had nothing but the best experience. My mother has made so many friends since her arrival. The staff at American House & The Medical Team feel like our family. Kristy and Amber have made many changes since their arrival and I see an improvement in the building as well as the happiness of the community. My mother absolutely enjoys all of the fun activities that Marie plans for them and loves going on little adventure adventures in the American House Bus. My wonderful Mother is a Finicky eater, but the culinary department is quick to meet her needs an offer Alternatives. Mom always raves about Jamie and says that he Make sure her room is nice and tidy. They have a therapy room upstairs, which was very convenient when Mom had a fall a few months ago, Also, when mom fell, we got to come across some angels in disguise on the second floor, The Medical Team Has been amazing there is somebody there from their care staff 24 hours a day, They were able to start my mom’s care the day that she arrived home from rehab no questions asked, Lisa and Kayla We’re very kind and helpful and made the process easy. Even though my mom is not receiving services Anymore all of the girls from the care team frequently stop in and check on her and give her hugs. Overall, I couldn’t be happier, If your loved one is in need of New family, Friends, And great care this is the place for them.
