Internet transition from my own perspective was smooth, there are two concerns I have though. First was to change my wifi password, I have to give it to Xcelerate which is kind a concerning. It's kind a defeating the purpose of privacy & safeguarding your password when you have to give it to the operator. When I first moved in here when I change my wifi password I didn't give my password to anybody at the internet operator. Second concern was the Dish streaming bundle, which is a downgrade from our previous Dish service, now I don't have some of my favorite channels like ESPN2 (a few channels are now gone like 205, 207, 208, 212, 231 & 322, they're some of my favorites) in able to get them we have to pay more which is really a major downgrade for the service.

Falling Stars at Affinity of Covington......... I am a current resident for nearly 5 years here at Affinity of Covington & I did a review on it 4 years ago & it was a glowing 5 star! Unfortunately, now 4 years later I'm giving them a 2 star for a number of different things they fall short on as to my expectations living here. One good thing that allows me to give it a 2 instead of a 1 star is that their Apartment maintenance team is very responsive and timely. Let me give you a few items that I will detail below to explain the big shortfalls. The Management appears to be focusing on lowering the costs of the products and services they provide residents to be MUCH more important than providing increased value for the residents or at least keeping value proposition at acceptable levels. Basically, Affinity is reducing the value of service and product offerings to residents to improve their Profit/Loss statement and simultaneously increasing resident costs on the annual renewal to enhance the P&L even more! This is recipe for a disaster for any business! You can't reduce a residents' Value Proposition of living at Affinity while consistently making substantive increases in monthly rental rates. If my experience at Affinity was like it was 4 years ago I would be willing to pay for reasonable price increases due to normal increasing annual costs of utilities and support services. BUT the service level is not near where it had been and it is degrading every year!! A few examples that have lowered my satisfaction levels are: 1) Reducing the service level by switching to a lower cost internet/TV provider and moving to streaming services from Cable AND they reduced the number of stations available without even telling the residents until it was converted. Also, the conversion was the worst executed conversion I have ever experienced in my 50 years of experiencing conversions. 2) Replaced a larger high quality Exterior Cooking Grill that was basically worn out due to age with two small low quality grills you buy at a Walmart and they only keep one of them accessible unless you make a request to have the 2nd one out. The problem with that logic is generally the need for a 2nd grill is after office service hours so there is no possibility to get the office to get the 2nd grill out! 3) Replaced their swimming pool that was a salt based heater/cleaner that had quite a few service issues due to age with a new older style Chlorine Cleaner/heater unit that actually has brought on more service issues than the older unit experienced. 4) Lastly local Management sometimes sets an expectation that certain service offering are going to be provided to the Residents and then 3 years later it is still not happening. IE: Smoker Grill never happened and it's been 3 years. Also furniture that they indicated was going to be replaced in Game room due to them being worn out and very uncomfortable again was promised years ago and still not a firm date of replacement! Setting expectations to customers and following through is something you should learn at Customer Satisfaction class 101! To close out I hope that things improve here at Affinity to help all Residents here BUT at this time I would not recommend this Apartment to anyone I know. Regretfully submitted Tom W.

I know a couple different residents that live in this location and they absolutely love it! Every time I go there, which is once a month, I am so taken it back by all of the things going on. It’s beautiful, very well taken care of and clean. There’s always activities going on and lots to do! I love seeing all of the residents that live there out chatting with each other and you can tell that this is a really fun close community. The staff has been extremely kind and I cannot say enough good things about this place! I love the secure parking underneath the building for the residence as well!

Doing fine now. Still in the process of unpacking, but really enjoying getting to know other residents thanks to my Ambassador. Love that I only live a few miles away from my sister and brother-in- law. The community is active and interesting. I’m sure my days will be filled with lots of good times. It did take me a long time to get my wifi and TV hooked up, but other than that it has been great.
