The facility management team is an invaluable asset to our community at Lake side Vista. Their dedication to our residents is truly inspiring. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure our residents’ needs are met, always with a warm smile and a kind word. Their positive attitude and compassionate care have made a significant difference in the lives of our residents. The team members all work together as a team and help each other out when help is needed.

Addington place recently has remodeled much of the campus and the updates are beautiful! The memory care is an open layout and allows room for Residents to walk around. There are so many activities for Residents to participate in, such as bingo and gardening. The chef makes homemade soup for an appetizer at meals. The Residents are like one big family and truly care about each other. The staff go above and beyond to take care of the Residents in a personalized way. I have seen the Executive Director come in on her time off to sit with a Resident who needed extra care or help staff get a Resident into the shower. I have seen the Community Relations director come in on off hours to give families a tour or take a call to answer their questions at any time of day. Management does not hesitate to jump on the floor and help out wherever they are needed, even if it is not their department! I have never seen teamwork be so prominent in a facility before.

I have worked at Addington Place for almost 3 1/2 years and thoroughly love and enjoy our residents. The campus is beautiful and there have been vast improvements made to many of our neighborhoods. The team members are caring and love their residents as family members. I have been able to experience new challenges with opportunities to learn from our residents. I truly love what I do and I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work at Addington Place.

My grandma couldn’t even make it a year at this place!,The leadership is terrible! The management overworks their staff and are often short staffed with CONSTANT turnover. Because of this medication’s and showers are Always late Or skipped all together.complaints to the (DON) and executive director go unaddressed! NONE of the doors are handicapped accessible which makes it very hard for the elderly to get in and out with a walker or a wheelchair. This has been a long term problem based on previous complaints. The rooms are EXTREMELY small and the outdoor furniture is broken and needs to be replaced. The list goes on and on!Overall a one star rating is a generous rating.
