Wilkinson Woods

My mother has been at Wilkinson Woods for almost two years and we are extremely happy with her experience there! Most of the staff and all of the management have been at the facility for many years which was very important to us when we were looking for a place for my mother to live. The staff are very caring and friendly both with the residents and with visitors, and have been amazing in helping both my mother, and our family adjust to the changes in life we experienced while transitioning her from living alone to living in an assisted living facility. The staff are always helpful with my mother and quick to note when anything seems amiss so we can stay on top of any health related issues as soon as they arise. They have a doctor who visits the facility weekly and does a wonderful job talking to, listening to, and caring for my mother when the need arises. There is a lot more that I could say about Wilkinson Woods, but I can summarize much of it by saying it is the kind of place my wife and I would want to live at if and when we need a senior assisted living facility!

Wilkinson Woods has given me tremendous peace of mind, knowing that my parents are safe and very well cared for. The staff goes above and beyond every day care and really gets to know all of the residents who live there. If you would ask my parents, why they love living there, they would respond, "the caretakers! " Additionally, the whole facility has been recently renovated. Upon entry, it's bright, open and modern. Communication from the management to families is always prompt and dependable. People who work there CARE and that's important to me as a daughter whose parents live at Wilkinson Woods. Amy H

If I could give six stars to Wilkinson Woods Assisted Living, I would! Wilkinson Woods is a smaller community than some of the other assisted-living residences, and it felt like family when you walked in the door. The facility might not be the newest and shiniest, but it is always clean and homey and comforting. The staff is absolutely amazing and helped accommodate individual needs and requests. My dad was somewhat introverted and liked to stay in his room a lot, so they found original ways to help him feel comfortable coming down to the common area, which he enjoyed. Wilkinson Woods offers many activities to fit all kinds of personalities. They have the standard games like bingo but also bring in speakers, musicians, they’ll have happy hours and parties and donut day and the list goes on and on. There really is something for everyone there. My dad‘s room was much larger than the other assisted-living rooms that I toured around the area for the same price. I feel so blessed that my dad was able to live at Wilkinson Woods the last year of his life.

My mom was a resident here until her passing and loved it. The staff provides attentive and personal care. The facility is very clean and well maintained. Food services are very good and guests are allowed to participate for a fee. The facility has a variety of floor plans and many on site services. They have daily activities for residents, including a can for shopping or off site activities. They have access to medical services for resident needs. Mom enjoyed her time there and made friends with the residents and staff.
