This review is of Wesrmont Village Homes in Riverside, California. Westmont Village Homes is located on a beautiful pine tree covered mountain conveniently located about 1 mile west of the 215 freeway right off of Van Buren Blvd in Riverside. This is a super safe gated privately owned community that was originally a retirement community for retired military officers. I had previously toured the community as a potential place for my elderly parents to move into. This community serves two seperate purposes as besides the normal residential homes for active seniors where I live, it has a thriving community for the elderly who require (or whish to have) a little more assistance with some aspects of their daily living like: house cleaning, a restaurant, clothes washed and folded, even nurse visits or just someone to come and give you your daily medications. There is even a hospital and 24 hour emergency service on site as well as a fully staffed memory care residental unit if that becomes necessary for your loved ones. Of course they have a gym, pool, parks, animals are welcome, activities, walking trails, a golf course... I have beautiful pine trees in my backyard and squirrels, bird feeders, we hear frogs at night and the temperature up here is cooler as it is located on a slightly higher elevation with the homes nestled between mature trees and a cool breeze is common. The residential community staff took us on a tour of the facilities when we were considering this as a great potential for my parents. We liked the community so much that we moved into the active adult residential area ourselves and really enjoy the safety and security here. It feels like living in Big Bear. Home maintenence and landscaping is provided within our lease and being that this is a 55+ community our lease is very reasonable. We feel totally safe in this gated community that has 24/7 security, cooler temperatures, gym, parks and activities, a cafeteria style restaurant, and very reasonable lease rates. Come check it out for yourself.

I love it here. I drive into our complex and think I'm blessed. To be surrounded by such beauty and peacefulness. I love the community and my neighbors are friendly. I play my music pretty loud and no one ever complains. My dog loves chasing the rabbits and squirrels. It's truly amazing.

I love the peaceful tranquility of my new home. My dog and my plants love it here too. Surrounded by such beautiful nature and wildlife. But like anywhere you can have some challenges for sure. My grandkid visit often and go on nature walks the like collecting thinks for crafts.
