Westminster is a phenomenal place. The apartments are beautiful and well planned with large closets and convenient design. The staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant. The meals are delicious and nutritious. There are wonderful activities like musical programs and lectures. I feel very fortunate to have such a lovely place for my new home.

Westminster is the best place ever. I started working here as a part time gig so that I could fund a graduation trip for my daughter. I only planned on being here for a few months as I have a very demanding full-time job. Something about this place just sucks you in. The residents are amazing and showcase the true definition of community. The staff all want to be here as they enjoy serving others. This is the only place I have ever worked at that doesn't feel like a job. All day I just get to help others, show compassion, empathy, and I get to do all of these things as my true authentic self. I feel like I come to a place that I long to be at and I get to be a part of this amazing, one of a kind community. The bonus is that I actually get paid to do something so fulfilling. Administration takes very good care of their staff as well. They constantly recognize staff that go above and beyond. They build teams and morale and are exceptional at these things. All I can say is if you want to make a difference in lives and have a soft spot for elderly people, you should consider working here. On the other end, if you are looking for a place to move your loved ones or you are a senior looking for yourself, then Westminster is the place. I assure you they are one of a kind and you will not find any place better. 10/10 all the way around!!!

My husband and I are new residents at Westminster. We live in separate buildings; he is in memory care and I am in independent living. It was a whirlwind of moving parts to coordinate moving my husband in first, and then moving into my own apartment a few weeks later. From start to finish, both moves were accomplished within 10 weeks, and included selling our house. While this was an enormous undertaking, it was made possible with the exceptional coordination by Westminster's associates. They are unfailingly professional and attentive to details and concerns. All phone calls and emails were promptly returned, and meetings were highly productive. My expectations for memory care and independent living were not only met, they were exceeded. I am so grateful for the care and help my husband and I received, most especially by Jordan and Katy in independent living, and by Joe, Angel and Althea in memory care. All associates at Westminster are outstanding individuals who take great pride in their work. My husband and I are very fortunate to be here.

My experience with Westminster goes back 40 years when my mother-in-law lived here the last 12 years of her life. They were very good, enjoyable years and through all her final stages, she was well-cared for and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting her here and meeting and dining with her and her friends. I'm an untypical case in that I have an apartment here but live at home with my wife Becky who's in later stage Alz's -- because we're comfortable and happy in our home of almost 60 years. But I think so highly of Westminster that I keep my apartment here as insurance for myself if I last longer than Becky does. So, it's a great treat for me to visit and meet friends here frequently for a "Sip 'n Sup" at the Rowan Bar. There, I make new friends and see others I've known through many years in Austin. So, my apartment also provides me a delightful social outlet as well as access to many cultural and entertainment events. When my mother-in-law was here, I figured that if I was a good boy, I'd spend my last years here. I'm still not here full time -- but still trying to at least be a fairly good boy. -- Good Cheer, Jerry Conn
