At 83 years, I recently had a knee replacement and did rehab at Westminster. Outstanding facility. I cannot say enough about the excellent care I received from the time I got there until my discharge. The physical therapy crew are extremely knowledgeable and display true concern for everyone. Choosing a rehab/skilled nursing facility is a very important decision for the family and client so I did extensive research and touring facilities in the area. Westminster is, by far, superior overall.

I recently had back surgery and after I was released from the hospital I went to Westminster for therapy. I have never stayed at a rehab place before so I didn't know what to expect. I was very pleased with the help I received as a patient. My favorite nurse was Cyndee Marsh. She was the most compassionate person I have ever met. The rest of the staff I worked with were awesome too. The PT and OT personnel that worked with me treated me with kindness. This was not just a job for them, they truly cared for their patients and it showed. The food was great too and all the CNA's and student nurses were great too! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a rehab, short or long term. Thanks you all!

We've only been here a couple of weeks, but all is going well. We were somewhat familiar with the place as my parents lived here years ago. And I know they were happy with things, which is why we considered Westminster Lakeland to begin with. The staff is wonderful and has been very helpful. The other residents are very nice, and we've enjoyed dining with them and the dinner conversation. As we meet or pass people just walking around everyone if very friendly, it's a small town within a small town. We were fortunate and got a contract on our house quickly, and even though the accommodations we wanted weren't available, the staff worked with us to get us into an apartment so that we wouldn't be "homeless"; and saved us the hassle of trying to find an apartment complex to move into short term. We really appreciate that they worked with us so that we could start our new lives here at Westminster Lakeland. The staff/marketing department in particular has been extremely helpful with getting us here and settled in our temporary home and working toward what will be our long term home. There are good places to walk our dog, a beautiful lake for us to go for walks around and just to look across - makes a really nice view from the dining room. They have amenities I wouldn't have even thought about for a retirement home/community; don't know that we'll use all of the but are looking forward to using many of them. We're excited for our future here.

When my grandma got sick 1500 miles from me and my family, it was incredibly difficult to know where to turn, especially since we wouldn’t be able to be there to support her all the time. The team at Westminster Lakeland has been so patient and kind and we are so grateful for their support and care for her. Though our ultimate goal was to get her closer to us, Westminster was an amazing place for the time being, the staff and residents make it a wonderful community.
