West River Health Campus

As a resident of West River for over 6 years, I have been able to experience first hand the kindness and patience of the staff here. From the nurses and aides to the therapy team, everyone works hard to make sure we are safe and well cared for. The facility is inviting, clean, and well maintained. I have been deemed the head of the ‘Welcoming Committee’. This allows me to make sure each new resident feels accepted and comfortable. I am truly grateful for the quality care and compassion I’ve received and would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for nursing care for their loved one.

My grandma spent some time at West River Health Campus, and I was truly impressed with the outstanding care provided by the nursing staff. Each team member went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and well-being. She frequently mentioned how much she enjoyed the meals, noting that they were not only nutritious but also delicious and varied, which made her dining experience enjoyable. One nurse on the day shift stood out to her the most, as she was exceptionally attentive and always ready to assist with her medication needs. This nurse’s warm demeanor and reliability made a significant difference in my grandma's day-to-day experience. During a visit, my grandma took a stroll around the facility with my mother, and she couldn't help but remark on how immaculate the surroundings were. The building's cleanliness truly impressed her, as it contributed to a welcoming and safe environment. My grandma also had wonderful things to say about the therapy team. They were not only skilled and professional but also brought a friendly, encouraging attitude to each session, making her feel supported throughout her rehabilitation. Knowing that my grandma was receiving such high-quality care while I was away gave me immense peace of mind. If she ever needed care in the future, our entire family would undoubtedly choose West River Health Campus again, confident that she would be in the best hands.

My grandmother has lived here for over a year now. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. When you have a problem they fix it to the best of their ability. The foods great and the matience team is prompt with anything that's has broken. 10/10 would send grandma here again.

It is never easy when the time comes to move your loved one(s) into a nursing home. No one can ever care for them like you can. No one can ever love them like you love them. But when you come across a place like West River, those fears and worries start to fade away. My Papaw was a resident of the Legacy Unit at West River for close to three years. And in those three years, never did we feel like he wasn’t being taken care of, never did we feel like he was alone, never did we feel like he wasn’t a priority and the list could go on. The staff in the Legacy Unit from day one, went above and beyond for my Papaw like they do for every single resident there. They genuinely loved and cared for him! They became his family when we couldn’t be there everyday like we would have liked. They gave my Papaw a loving home which gave us all the comfort in the world knowing he was so well taken care of. It will be challenging to find a better nursing home than West River when you begin the search for your loved one. I wouldn’t write these words if I didn’t truly believe them. Thank you will never be enough for the love, care, kindness, compassion and patience they showed my Papaw every single day he was there. And to add, they showed that to us every time we were in there visiting! Thank you to every single person whoever crossed paths with my Papaw and made him feel seen and so very loved during his time at West River.
