This could be a great facility....unfortunately the exact opposite is true. The nursing staff is totally incompetent! The nursing care is anything but caring. They "forget" to give medication; they didn't check on a resident because there was a mix up on staffing; the list goes on. The maintenance...especially the elevators...make living there unsafe. These residents rely on wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers. They cannot do stairs. Yet the elevators in this 4 floor facility are constantly broken down....trapping these elderly residents. Elevators are unusable for months at a time. Without the elevators residents cannot get to the dining room for meals. And no one cares...no one makes sure these residents trapped in their apartments get meals. So the residents go hungry. Maintenance is non-responsive. If the elderly resident can't change their own thermostat and calls for help they will have to either freeze or swelter for days ....while they keep calling for help...until maintenance MIGHT make it to their room. This is a sad and unsafe place to live! Beware.

Wesleyan is a nice place to live. But the management and some of the staff need alot of work. When I first came here the food was good head chef Robbie was an exceptional chef. But sadly he left for some reason. And our new head chef Michael so far I am not impressed. I've been a head chef in a nursing home, and we put out better food then we are getting now. They serve to much pork which I don't eat. For religious purposes and also it's a choking hazard. It's always so dry and overcooked. Same with the white meat chicken, the grill chicken is terrible it's always so dry. These residents here deserve better food. The cafe has better food , then the rose room . I give Wesleyan 3 stars 1 for excellent nursing care Linda she's excellent and caring. Sandra she's excellent and caring. And I also give honorable mention to Jayme and Kristy are very sweet and caring. The activities are fun and Anastasia and Ryan make them fun. The hospitality and dining staff need alot of work, either train them right and weed out the bad ones. Housekeeping always clean my room and bathroom always with professionalism and attention to detail Maintenance does an okay job, they are slow to respond to work orders, I've been waiting over a month to have my Air Conditioner fixed. It's been looked at. I thought this was supposed to be a Christian based home. It doesn't feel like it. This is supposed to be my home and it just doesn't feel like it. It has changed a lot since I came here.

Absolutely terrible place! I would give zero stars if possible. The rooms are dirty and falling apart, the bed was broken, the call lights were nonfunctional, and the staff members were neglectful. My mom ended up having to call me in the middle of the night and needing EMS called to be taken to the ER. The staff acted like they didn't understand what was going on or why she felt she needed to call me. She ended up needing blood transfusions and antibiotics. If left in the care of this place I honestly don't think she would have lived through the weekend.

We recently moved our grandmother into Wesleyan Village, and the experience has been exceptional. My grandma is blind in one eye and has very limited vision in the other, so finding a place where she felt comfortable and supported was incredibly important to us. Ashley and Shelley in Sales, were amazing throughout the process. They made everything so smooth and stress free, not just for us but for our grandma as well. Their professionalism and care truly stood out. Since moving in, my grandma has raved about how kind everyone is. She Loves Terri! The nursing staff is so friendly and attentive, Michelle and Pete are always making her feel at ease. The facility offers a variety of activities, including bingo, coffee and donuts, and even outings to local stores. It’s wonderful to know she has so many opportunities to stay engaged. One unique feature we appreciated is the on property apartments available for out-of-town visitors. My sister and I stayed in a comfortable two-bedroom apartment while helping set up our grandma’s studio apartment. It made the transition so much easier for all of us. Wesleyan Village is a warm, welcoming community that we feel very confident in. We’re so grateful our grandma is in such a caring environment. Highly recommend!
