Wellington at Hershey’s Mill

We have had many years of interaction with personnel at Wellington, first in Independent Living, and now in Personal Care. There are several who deserve some call-outs. With the most recent move, Sharon was very helpful in facilitating the move and is always personable and helpful when we meet. Gail at the front desk is also warm and friendly, helpful in whatever way she can. Mark too (I think that's his name ) who handles mail and package delivery. Tony often goes above and beyond handling activity setups and special requests. Even when short-handed, he remains pleasant and interacts with the residents warmly. The two activity coordinators in Personal Care are exemplary in their work. Liz and Donna - I can't say enough good things about them. Their work, the variety of activities they coordinate, their pleasant personalities and all the extras they provide to make the Personal Care area welcoming and inviting. They truly care about the residents and always try to engage as many as possible. I'm probably leaving out some, but we have found these particular staff members at Wellington to be excellent.

Wellington at Hersey Mills is one of the best facilities I’ve seen. I visited several places before making a decision where I chose to move my mother. My mom is very important to me and the level of care she receives is my biggest priority. When I moved mom in 2 years ago the staff was very kind and patient. The move in team was amazing and they paid attention to every detail to personalize mom’s stay. The facility has amazing lot of amenities and the food is great. If you are looking for a safe environment for your family member I would highly recommend.

Late last week my husband and I toured the Wellington at Hershey's Mill on behalf of my father who lives out of state and has advanced Alzheimer's. We had a great tour of both the Personal and Memory Care units by Michael Lando, a Community Relations Counselor. The rooms we viewed and the amenities offered by Wellington were fantastic. I particularly appreciated the walled garden area found in the Memory Care Unit and the open feel of the different areas. If my father lived nearby and the logistics of moving him were not so complicated the Wellington would be on my short list for Memory Care facilities. I also appreciated that the sales team was not predatory or pushy as we make some important decisions - something I have encountered after touring other senior living areas. Thank you!

My mom has meals here and always tells me how nice the servers are. She always has good things to say about how friendly and welcoming everyone is. Maggie is a newer server, and my mom has already mentioned how kind and helpful she is. It’s really nice knowing my mom is being taken care of by such caring staff!
