Jennifer, residency counselor at Watercrest Kingwood was absolutely fantastic! She walked us through what is offered and available at Watercrest so that we could make an informed decision for my father in law. Jennifer had a very calming demeanor which we really appreciated during a very stressful situation for us. She was available by phone and text no matter what day or time. She gave us a tour of the facility and never rushed us regardless of her timeline. She is absolutely awesome!

I moved here in 2018, a year after my husband passed. This place was so healing to me. Everyone loves it here so they are all happy . I still was grieving but you know, if you just open your apt. door and step out, you can't get depressed! There are always people in the hallways, and once that I started participating in some of the numerous activities Watercrest offers, I got to meet so many and some became good friends! I thank God every day for bringing me to this place! My apt balcony overlooks the pool so I feel like Im at a resort! The office staff, the kitchen staff and the housekeepers and maintenance crew are all friendly and go the 2nd mile in helping myself and other seniors here who are challenged with our phones and internet. I love all of the amenities and feel blessed to be living in such a beautiful place. Watercrest is constantly working to improve the programs/ plans offered to us in order to make our lives easier! Love it here and highly recommend this place! I especially love the fitness program , brain games and loving to socialize and dance, happy hour! Great entertainment, and fellowship and delicious food to eat.

I have visited multiple communities in that area, and Watercrest was by far the most impressive. The residents, the atmosphere, the staff, everything was amazing, start to finish. I think the biggest difference between Watercrest and other places I have looked at was the people. The folks that I met with were all so warm and full of life. It really made Watercrest feel special!

So we started off with my mother who was there until she passed last month for a year and 3 months, it started off as 5 Stars and we ended up with one, it seemed as she declined, so did the care? The only thing that went up was the price ,As Time went on some dementia set in, and my mom kept falling. They wouldn't call us and tell us they did absolutely nothing to help us the last fall when she ended up in the hospital, we called hospice in to help us and they fired our hospice help only because she was telling us everything that they weren't doing to help my mother. The pushbuttons for them to call the life alerts didn't work half of the time, or they just didn't show up. And the worst was her room was infested with German roaches, my family previously owned a termite business I even called Massey, who services them to tell them that spraying does not fix the issue on the day my mother passed. There were roaches everywhere in her room , and I hope whoever gets that room doesn't have the same problems , and I hope that zeke the new manager there really does do something about this because it was a horrible ending for all of us. There were quite a few nurses there that actually wanted to do their job.
