Newly renovated and beautiful but the best part is the caring staff. They all take good care of my mom and make Washington Pointe a warm, happy and safe environment. They are eager to please and will do whatever it takes to fulfill a request. Nursing care is attentive and caring. Dining room is staffed with the nicest waiters and staff and food is very good. All the residents are friendly and inviting. There are a great variety of activities for both residents and fun family get togethers to get involved. My mom is very happy here and has recommended this “home away from home” to friends who have moved in and also love it here.

I was so impressed with the facility and the staff on my first visit that I decided it would be a waste of time to look anywhere else. My wife is the most precious thing in my life, and I would never allow her to stay anywhere that could not provide her the care and attention she deserves. Washington Pointe fits all her needs in a clean, safe, and engaging environment. Kassie and Julianne, the two directors I initially met with, were professional, knowledgeable, and empathetic with their understanding of my concerns for my wife's welfare. I cannot say enough about the quality of food at WP and the excellent wait staff. I did not expect the variety of meal selections and options available at every meal. The soups alone are amazing in taste and quality. I have yet to meet the chefs personally but look forward to shaking his/her hand and congratulating them on their superb cuisine. The activity options for the residents, (gym, heated pool, landscaped yard, lounges, outings, etc.,) are numerous and sense my wife if a Marine Veteran I particularly appreciate the Veterans Wall of Honor. I have no regrets about choosing Washington Pointe. The relief I feel knowing my wife is being well cared for in WP is beyond measure. I highly recommend Washington Pointe to anyone that wants the very best care for their loved ones.

Our family recently celebrated our first anniversary with Washington Pointe as caregiver for a dearly beloved family member. The adjustment was a challenge for our family member but the administration and staff were gracious and supportive. Dementia is not a welcome experience. I am pleased with my experiences with the staff. I am particularly thankful for the Director for working with me to help my mom adjust. The interior decor of the common areas has been recently updated. There are many conveniences like the hair salon and nail salon, activities such as the exercise classes, bingo, and social gatherings.
