Overview
Walker Place is a vibrant Assisted Living community located in Shelbyville, Indiana. We offer compassionate care in a home-like setting conveniently located across the street from the Intelliplex Medical Center. We develop individual care plans to meet the needs of each resident, and a full-time registered nurse is available onsite to provide clinical oversight and coordination of care.

This place is a joke the New director seemed nice when we first met her but that changed quickly. They charge these residents thousands of dollars to live there but gives them 6 dollars a day to eat and expects it to be a 5 star meal. We are looking to move our aunt as soon as possible.

My husband has lived at Walker Place for nearly two years. Staff members are caring, able, and friendly. They respond well to our questions and concerns. The atmosphere is homelike and very clean. Having the hospital and doctors just across the road is a plus. We are satisfied with the care at Walker.
