My grandma came to Vista Springs shortly after having a stroke and bouncing from nursing home to nursing home in the area due to care issues and other concerns, she ended up staying at Vista for 6 months leaving for 3 weeks and then coming right back again for another month until therapy stated she was doing well enough now that she could discharge home with a high success rate. This came from having no ability at all on her left side, not being able to lift her arm or leg or being able to walk. She’s now thriving at home and able to walk short distances. I don’t think this would have been possible without the nursing staff and therapy at Vista Springs! Also the environment was very well kept and engaging she was occupied with activities and therapy daily which filled her days and she really enjoyed as well. She had her own beautiful and CLEAN apartment which made her feel like she was at home in ways, was able to bring her personal furniture and decorations which helped out with it feeling homey. The nursing staff got to know her very well over the time she lived there to where she was emotional upon leaving due to the bonds she created in those 7 months. I have no complaints at all and eventually if she ever needs care again she already has stated multiple times she wants to go back to Vista !! And most importantly her being there gave our family the peace of mind we did not get at the previous facilities and were able to sleep at night not worrying about if she was okay and cared for, if I could give more than 5 stars I would. Highly recommend if your loved one needs care in the area.

Worst Assisted Living Facility – Strongly Do Not Recommend I would not recommend this facility to anyone considering assisted living for themselves or a loved one. During my visits, the environment was consistently dirty and disorganized. I frequently observed soiled pull-ups left on the floor, stained and unclean carpeting, and bathroom floors so sticky that my shoes would adhere to them. Areas such as behind the couches appeared to have never been properly cleaned or vacuumed. On one occasion, I even discovered what appeared to be dried feces under the clothing (with photographic documentation). Beyond the unsanitary conditions, the level of care provided by staff was deeply concerning. There was constant employee turnover, and nearly every visit I encountered a different group of staff members. My loved one required assistance with eating, yet meals were often left on the table without explanation or support. On multiple occasions, I had to search for an aide to ensure he received the help he needed. Without consistent involvement from our family, I genuinely fear his nutritional needs would not have been met. The administration was consistently dismissive and unprofessional when concerns were raised. It is extremely upsetting to reflect on the care my other loved one received at this facility. She entered in stable health, though she required mobility assistance. Within six months, she developed multiple bedsores and sadly passed away. I firmly believe that the lack of attentive and appropriate care significantly contributed to her decline. After two years of witnessing how this facility was managed, my family deeply regrets not taking action sooner. Based on our experience, this organization appeared far more focused on financial gain than on resident well-being. In my opinion, this facility does not meet acceptable standards of care.

Vista Springs is a wonderful facility with a truly dedicated Director of Nursing and caring nurses. The support staff has also been very cooperative and extremely helpful. I’m so glad my grandma feels like she belongs there and has met some wonderful friends. It gives our family peace of mind knowing she’s in a place where people truly care about the residents and work hard to provide a positive and supportive environment.

Very poor, they don't care about your love ones. Rooms are dirty, don't take care of anyone only care about money. When I moved my dad out, behind his bed the wall was moldy. Very dirty carpet. Food is disgusting. They never checked on him. If he pressed his call button they took forever to come. When I would call the 3rd floor nurse station, they never answer their phone, if I left a message would not call me back. Would leave food in his room all day. If they brought food in and he was sleeping the food would sit for hours they never woke him up. The floors were sticky. Bathroom disgusting. The refrigerator filthy. When my mom was there she developed bedsores because they didn't move her. She was dropped a couple times when moving her from wheel chair to bed. I don't recommend this place at all. They can't keep staff. Different workers all the time. Nobody cares an awful place. So glad my dad is at a better, cleaner place with staff that care. Only wish we would of moved my mom sooner and she would probably still be here.
