I highly recommend the VI Skilled Nursing Facility for its outstanding care and first class accommodations. The staff provided compassionate and attentive support, and they definitely prioritized the well being of the residents. My brother felt right at home, in his private room with a private bathroom. I have to call out Pratik and his team for the daily physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, tailored to his needs. I saw how this made a significant difference in his recovery. And his daily care was always delivered with kindness and professionalism. Beyond the excellent medical care, The Vi also provides enriching activities: movie nights and concerts. My brother loved this and it created a level of engagement that I felt contributed to his recovery. He also loved the high quality meals! For anyone seeking a caring, professional, and supportive environment for their loved one, I wholeheartedly recommend The VI.

I highly recommend the Vi Skilled Nursing Facility. My mother has been in rehab for the past 3 weeks after fracturing her hip in a fall. When she arrived she could barely get out of bed. In three weeks she's walking and dressing herself. Big shout out to Pratik and the other members of the Therapy staff, Noelle's nursing staff, and especially Andy, the Lifestyle Director. Thank you for your compassionate care in nursing my mother back to health!

I can't state highly enough how wonderful the Vi is. I moved in last year with my 3 year old 12 poodle mix dog. Both of us couldn't be happier. A special thanks to Encino Galvez (sales) and Joy Flores (administrator) for their help in having the move go smoothly. The residences here are super friendly-love the outreach and friendly hellos. The food is superior w/ much variety-three different restaurants plus a 'to go dinner choice'. I also love that each apartment has their own washer & dryer. There are dozens of activities (exercise in person & in-house TV channel, lectures, beautiful live music concerts, trips to theater, opera, museums, walking activities so much more). This is definitely the place to live after retirement. PS Also, love the gorgeous lobby with the two fireplaces, wall of floor to ceiling windows, grand piano, super comfortable sofas & stuffed chairs-very classy.

My father enjoyed his time at the Vi living in independent living for many years. But once he was forced to go to Skilled Nursing, due to a bad fall in his apartment, he received terrible care. The staff neglected him, leaving him alone for hours, often in soiled clothes. When he fell going to the bathroom in his own room (which was right across from the nursing station, where the staff often is), they expected us to hire full time help for him, even someone to sit in a chair all night long while he slept. They did not give him a shower unless we insisted. Unbelievable, given the amount of money he had put into the VI over many years, and what he was paying them to be in Skilled Nursing. My father chose the VI for many reasons, and one of the main reasons was the high quality long term care he believed he would receive there. He did not receive this care, even though we, his children, talked to the staff countless times about providing the basic care that he was promised. He ended up dying there. Do not be deceived by the nice look of skilled nursing. It is understaffed, the staff they have are neglectful and uncaring, and some staff are under qualified. The managers will promise you many things, but they do not follow through. A year after his death, I remain profoundly sad about the care he received in the last months of his life, and how deeply trusting he had been of the Vi.
