I don't know the Spanish lady's name who is in housecleaning, however I do know she Has been with your company since my mother moved in 2023. She offered a really nice gesture to help me take my mom's trash out as I was on my way out back to work. I want to ensure you that this woman is a highly valuable asset to your company and you must do everything possible to make sure that she remains. I am noticing the communities change and others as well. Please make sure that she is given a raise and acknowledgement. Whichever she may ask, please provide to make sure she knows how valuable she is in Pensacola. She is always there helping and cleaning, helping and smiling. :) Keep shining !

Visited on 1/14/25. Looking for a place for my 75 year old family member. The entry into the facility is open, airy & full of natural light. The already clean center is in the process of being redecorated and I know it’s going to turn out gorgeous. So there was a lot of activity going on … bocce ball in the atrium, painting, setting up for lunch. The gregarious General manager, Freddy O gave my daughter & I an extensive walking tour and showed us both a studio & 1 BR apartment. (He greeted every resident by first name!! 🥰 )We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness in all the rooms. Freddy was very thorough in discussing amenities, all the activities included plus pricing. We enjoyed lunch as well in the central dining room which was full of cheerful smiling residents. The servers were friendly/attentive and the food was excellent. I had a fresh garden salad, pasta carbonara, asparagus and spice cake. Kudos to the chef, Vinny. We sat with 2 lovely ladies who shared their experiences with us. We sang happy birthday to a resident who chimed in that the Pines is a great place to live! We left feeling hopeful that our family member would be happy here. Thanks to everyone who helped us get to this point.

I have a friend currently staying at University Pines. They have several activities to participate in and several choices in the dining room if you choose to dine in with your friend or loved one.

I stayed in a guest apartment while visiting my 83 yo brother & SIL. This was so nice, and the convenience of being in the same building was so much better than a hotel, plus I enjoyed their meals as well. They have a very clean facility, and I thought the food was very good too!! I didn't partake in their daily activities but visited with my family, but they had a Christmas party and games when I arrived. I also noted they had activities on the other days I was there as well. This facility has lovely grounds and seems to be close to lots of restaurants, shopping areas, and a hospital!! Everyone was so nice, and I met quite a few residents that I quickly came to enjoy. I can't speak to the cost, but I would certainly recommend University Pines for anyone who might be searching of a senior retirement community!!!
