Memory Care

Life Plan/CCRCs
Also referred to as Life Plan Communities, these communities offer a comprehensive continuum of care for residents. CCRCs offer multiple levels of care, allowing seniors to transition between independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care as their needs change throughout their aging journey.
Active Adult
Active adult communities are vibrant residential neighborhoods designed specifically for individuals typically 55 and older. These communities offer a range of amenities, as well as recreational and social activities.
Respite Care
Respite care is short-term or temporary care. Respite care can be provided in adult day centers, in private homes via home health agencies and in senior living communities, most often assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.
Skilled Nursing
Skilled nursing and nursing homes are residential facilities that offer medical care and support for individuals that require a higher level of medical attention and assistance. These are staffed by licensed healthcare providers and offer a range of services to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.
Personal Care
Personal care involves assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, medication management, and mobility support to help maintain independence and enhance day-to-day life.
Home Care
Home care typically offers nonclinical support for Activities of Daily Living (ADL) like bathing and dressing, as well as Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) such as transportation, meal preparation, and medication reminders, all provided in the comfort of one’s home.

TidePointe is like no other community! I have entertained the residents since its inception on Hilton Head 25 years ago - the welcoming staff, residents, and fun events always leave a smile on my heart. I always look forward to playing music there (if only I could join the Conga line!) LOVE it!

My dad had been at TidePointe since their inception - 27 years ago! He loved every minute! He enjoyed every single level of this wonderful CCRC. He and Mother started in their beautiful home which they built from the ground up. When my mother died, he moved to a beautiful apartment connected to the Club House. When it was necessary, he moved to Broad Creek Care Center, into Assisted Living, right down the hallway from the Club House. He continued enjoying activities at TP as well as activities at BCCC. After a hospital stay, he then enjoyed the incredible care in Skilled Nursing. When he was able he moved back to Assisted Living where he was treated like a king! He died last month, at age 102.5. He certainly made the most of his living in this incredible community! The Physical Therapy Program was amazing and tailored to all levels, Independent, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing. We have loved every step with him! Great food, fantastic staff and residents, lots of activities - all fantastically POSITIVE!

Moving here just as the pandemic started added a much greater challenge to becoming acquainted with all the wonderful activities and interactions TidePointe has to offer. Even with restrictions, the staff and executives set up exercise programs and activities that participants could do virtually, and contact was made to all on a daily basis. Wonderful meals were delivered and all services continued on with an upbeat cheery attitude by all staff, and everything was done to respond to your individual needs - if possible. I am looking forward to the games, entertainment, excursions, and special events that are being planned in the near future. In addition to all the activities, TidePointe offers beautiful grounds with scenic walking paths, lovely dining halls, library, hair salon, games rooms, beautiful swimming pool, wonderful gym with staff fully available, and a concierge service always there for you. I became acquainted with BCCC several years ago when my mother-in-law became a resident. Being an RN, I am very familiar with care centers. I was very impressed with the attention to her by all (nursing, activities, dietary, housekeeping, etc). She absolutely flourished under their care. Being as we spent alot of time there, the staff and residents became like family to me. Since then, I have continued to volunteer at the care center. I remain impressed by the dedication of every staff member to their residents --- they truly are the most compassionate and devoted caregivers I have ever known. I would and continue to highly recommend BCCC to anyone (or their family) who might need short or long term rehab or care. They are the best the island has to offer!
