The Watermark at the Pearl

After an exhaustive search for a continuing care retirement community for my brother and sister-in-law, we settled on The Watermark in the Pearl where they have happily settled. My brother’s health has improved significantly given his managed medications, three excellent meals a day and socialization that has heightened his and his wife’s love for their new home. The staff is, without question, friendly, gracious, accommodating and efficient in serving the various needs of their residents. While my brother and his wife reside in Assisted Living, you cannot identify its setting from independent living. There is a sense of brightness (literally) and joy and positivity everywhere. Valet parking for our whole family is most appreciated. This unique setting, with some views of the Willamette River, makes The Watermark an excellent life choice.

My colleague and I visited The Watermark at The Pearl today. Our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I valeted my car and was ushered into the spacious lobby, I felt welcomed. We ate in the W restaurant and served by Michael. He was knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. I had a salad with prawns, cup of creamy tomato soup, French fries and a 7 layer chocolate cake. The food was well cooked and flavorful. The restaurant atmosphere was lively with a lovely view of the river. In my job I visit several senior living communities regularly. Watermark stands out for the beautiful building and the care and concern of the people working inside of it. We visited with Fara who seems to know every resident by name. I was impressed with every aspect of the community.

I’ve had the privilege to participate in the Watermark experience through engaging with staff members, residents, and the overall community here. I have been exceptionally pleased with the amount of detail and effort that is put into such a beautiful space! They treat everyone like family and do everything in their power to accommodate each individual and their needs/concerns. Staff is readily available when needed and responsive in a respectful manner. They have wonderful events, activities and wellness programs that contribute to better health and happiness for all! I highly recommend this community, you won’t be disappointed!
