When I needed care after a hospital visit in May 2024 and after surgery in October 2024, the Waterford Medical Center provided premium care! I found the entire staff to be highly trained, professional, friendly and most importantly compassionate. My recovery was greatly helped by the skill and care I received from the PT and OT department. While the Health Center is undergoing a total renovation, wing by wing, it never interfered with the daily life and activities provided for the patients. Wait until you see the attention to detail and beautiful new private and semi-private patient rooms. This is definitely a 5 Star facility!

Both of my parents were at the Waterford and they were very well taken care of beyond my expectations. The staff was extremely attentive, they enjoyed the food and the physical therapist were great at helping them get better. The nurses were very knowledgeable and personable. This gave me peace of mind in a stressful time.

More of a Bed and Breakfast than a Rehab.....my 65 year old wife came to The Waterford after having broken her hip and wrist. We came here from the hospital based on research and recommendations however our experience made us want out of there pronto! While it may be adequate for the elderly who do not need or expect much in the way of PT or OT. This was not as expected for an active 65 year old. PT and OT was not provided as frequently as prescribed by the Doctor. We found the care team more interested in obtaining more billable days than treatment. I am one who generally reviews providing praise and kudos, not complaints, but this needs to be known and posted.

Our family’s experience with Waterford has been nothing short of miraculous. When my mother arrived, she was in a dire state following a major ischemic stroke that had initially been misdiagnosed. She was minimally communicative, heavily medicated, and required extensive assistance for even the simplest tasks. In less than a month, the dedicated team at Waterford has transformed my mother’s life. Today, she is a new person – or rather, she is her old self again. She’s chatty, charming, and funny. She walks independently, has a hearty appetite, and most importantly, she’s regained her zest for life. The spark in her eyes has returned, along with her upbeat attitude and excitement for the future. We are profoundly grateful to everyone at Waterford for their unwavering dedication, genuine kindness, and exceptional competence. The staff’s expertise and compassionate care have not only aided in my mother’s physical recovery but have also rejuvenated her spirit.
